One of the first things we should do is get before our creator and ask him what he created us to do. Then, be quite & listen for his answer. This video was very helpful to get these things on paper that we can think about our aptitude’s skills & interest. And become better acquainted with our particular design & then purpose.

Dont listene to people saying you are valuable when you yourself know that statement is empty when it concerns you. If you dont know what to do, do something.you will find your purpose along the way. Focus all your time amd energy into one thing and you will bloom. Thats it Example: If you dont know hlw to play the piano and i give you one, nothing will come out of it. But if you dedicate yourself to it. Keyhole all your potential and time into the piano You will explode at the other side of the door and the amount of thing you can do with and learn from the piano will be unlimited.

Hi K Hum. Thank you for sharing your experience. In my experience, most people feel like you do at times, me included. I'm sure you have abilities and social talents that you are giving yourself credit for. I recently heard someone say that when you have nothing to look forward to, you feel depressed. If you don't feel you have "talents" or "abilities", then you might consider joining some local meetup groups or facebook communities where you could learn new things and meet new people. Often, something as simple as having an event to look forward to and a community to be part of will help pull you out of a rut. Give yourself credit. You didn't make it to your 50's without abilities and talents...it's impossible. Try my exercises and be nice to yourself. See what you discover!

I understand where you are coming from Ely. I would spend some time with this exercise and even revisit often to dial in on what lights you up. Creating a morning routine for yourself that includes self-reflection and ingesting inspirational or motivational info will also be of massive benefit. Some great books are "Think & Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill and "How to Win Friends & Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. Just feed your mind every morning (even if you only have 4 minutes to spare!) and you will experience a shift much sooner than you might expect. Thanks for your question and I hope this helps!

I'm aware there is controversy over Napoleon Hill's character. However, the information in his book is also mirrored in other great books such as Psycho Cybernetics and there is a world of research validating the power for our minds to influence our results in life. I draw my inspiration from many different sources. At the time of my life I made this video, Think and Grow Rich was one of the first to introduce me to these concepts. Don't mistake the man for the concepts. They are two different things and not original to Napoleon Hill.

@@sfkeepay Sure. I recommend you start with the book I mentioned called Psycho-Cybernetics. It's available as audiobook for free here on KZbin. Just search for it.. It will offer you a more grounded and scientific approach to how "attracting" success works. Sometimes the woo woo crowds make all this sound like magic fairy dust but that is more of a description of how it feels to them when they suddenly start perceiving a world of opportunity where you couldn't see it before.

Eric, thank you for these ideas. I have been playing around with this approach for a while.
