Is the new kart quicker than the old one? And if so what age is the old one?

We were testing the kart out with really old tires and in cold conditions but it felt quicker than our 2022 Red Speed. We will get a better feel once we mount some new tires and get a bit more seat time with it.

Those the best kind of wins! Did it in a rain race . P1 to P4 on lap 1 . Mid race 2nd and 3nd did a synchronized spin and leader threw it away last lap last turn 🏁😁 Did it in a pre final 2 weeks ago but had 3 turns to spare !! Enjoy the rest of your season !

What is your qualifying format? Do you go Push Push Push? or Push Cooldown Push?

This weekend they did a different format. It was a 8 minute practice with qualifying incorporated. So your fastest lap in practice was your qualifying time. For the short amount of time given, we just push the whole session.

Couple questions, why run the side view cam and not the pov cam? Is there a reason for this view?

My compliments on your multi-camera presentation (pretty good racing too!). I saw the cameras on the kart, building, drone high and FPV drone. Did I miss any? I've never driven AMP in person but I've run it many many time in KartKraft X30 class. About 49 seconds is the best I can do. When I ask to fly a camera drone during races at my local track (PacificGP, Kent, WA), they say NO. How did they get permission to fly drones during an event at AMP? Did everybody present have to sign a waiver?

The track record for an X30 here is in the high 49s (can't remember exact time). About the drone they used, it is operated by the camera crew at AMP (footage used from their livestream) which is why they are able to fly one during race days.

i get the frustration, #340 had so much more bottom end than you, and would just pull off out of the corners. You would catch him so much on the straights and entry/mid corner. Good racing!

Hi Clement, We have to use new tires every race to be competitive. Unfortunately, we can't afford to test with new tires like some teams.

@clementclem5193 Yep. it's very expensive.We race with OTK - 2019 kosmic and 2021 redspeed, and yes, we have basically all the top brands here competing here in AMP and in US.

It's basic the same mechanically, the difference from 2017 I think It's the aero package changed, so you will gain some speed and handling.

I live a few hours from here, really looking to get a kart soon and get into some races. I've only ever competed in 3 competitive races in my life when I was a kid and won 2 crashed out of my first one. Sadly my uncle/mentor passed away and I wasn't able to keep racing after that
