I have a dc power 270 amp alternator that charges at 14.8 continuously, being that these have a "max" charging voltage of 14.8, will this work with my alternator.

JP i have a couple of questions. will the DOWN4SOUND | D4S LTO 6.0 - 12V Lithium Battery charge with a stock car alternator or will i need to charge it separately? i have a 2007 honda fit and it has a low 80a output alternator. sometimes i notice if certain bass notes hit it goes into low voltage and cuts out so i have to immediately turn down the volume. will the DOWN4SOUND | D4S LTO 6.0 - 12V Lithium Battery prevent the low voltage cut out? thanks for any help and great videos i learn a lot watching them.

FAQ…….06 Ranger ex cab. BrodyMan is running 2-ZV5 12” on two JP23v2 strapped. I have two LTOs but factory battery and alternator. I’m not dipping that bad but it’s gets down to 13.1-13.2. What the best way to keep taht closers to 14.4

I'm old school bass head. Common sense states if you push an amp hard you better cool it. You live in hot areas of the country you better cool it. I ran extra fans on mine. Williston Labs have tested JP amps. These are solid amps. Take care when installing them and they will last. From what I see these are quality.

I finally spent some cash and purchased one of the banks and I can't complain. Long KZbin story: I purchased a ONE farad capacitor from a local audio store called Earmark back in the early 90s. I was very unimpressed but I have kept it all of these years; it was manufactured by Mallory (typical electrolytic capacitor). I paid $120 back in 1992.. It was/is ugly and black/brown/scuffed but to my surprise it actually works because I verified it by testing. Terminating that single farad capacitor at a distribution block yielded an increase of over 300 cold cranking amps using 4 gauge cable. The bank of Super Caps I ordered this year on sale has a similar return of 350 cold cranking amps, but I'm using 4 gauge.. Testing the bank at the terminals yields nearly 1500 cold cranking amps!! lol I'm glad other people have taken risks and stayed in the hobby because I could no longer justify it as I needed to keep a roof over my head: but I'm slowly coming back.
