@andrew-hd3ihКүн бұрын
lets get things strait here. there were 943 SD 455s made in 1974. and only 252 SD 455s were made in 1973. 1970 to 1973 had the same body style. in 1973 180 were automatics and 72 were four speeds. much more rare than the 1974. i have a 1973 that i inherited when my uncle passed away in 2013. last time the car was on the rd, was 1983. 11,345 miles on it. buccaneer red with sadle interior. never restored all original. never even seen rain. 1974-1978 wore the same tail light. and very similar through 1981. 1973 is the holy grail!

the holy grail of trans ams is the 69 convertible trans am, only 8 made, and are all accounted for, only 4 exist today, a 74 SD is far less desirable than the 73 SD even

Are you 100% sure that only 4 have been found, you might want to double check.
@cloakedgt18 сағат бұрын
@@3602go i said all are accounted for, a total of 8, I believe 2 were totaled and written off, and 2 were sitting and rotted out and were scrapped, the 4 that are still existing 2 are automatic and 2 are 4 speeds, people searched through insurance information to find the 2 that were totaled, but others say that they all exist so the information is very scattered theres no definitive answer

It's funny to think that a '98-'02 LS1 (5.7L) Trans Am is probably just as fast if not faster (while getting close to 30 mpg on the highway...the 455 was probably lucky to get 9 mpg).

Man I love those Birds especially that red & black, my Georgia colors...GO DAWGS! Kudos to the lady in her black mini skirt outfit, those boots, dark hair & that ponytail, I dig it {wish I could place her accent}! I'm glad that Trans Am held on to the muscle car until 1979! ✌💖☮
@billydee80512 күн бұрын
My thoughts exactly. I'm usually into the C3 Corvette bumper cars but appreciate all well done cars. And yes, with all respect, that lady in the black skirt and boots with the dark hair absolutely rocks. One of the few things that can make me take my eyes off the cars.

@@billydee8051 I prefer the '68-'72 Vettes but I do like them up until '82, havent really cared for the body styles of any of them since! I had to rewind the video a ew times because I was not focusing on the car or what they were saying! Lucky fella whomever gets to go home to that

NICE, I bought a brand new 1977 Can Am back when new and back then in 1977 drove it to see Smokey and the Bandit one night with my girlfriend and i still always wanted a Burt Reynolds 77 TA after seeing that movie. I learned to LOVE my Can Am though after finding out how rare they were. Only 1377 Can Am's produced. How do you like your S.P. Challenger? I am thinking of purchasing one of the last new 2023 Scat Pack Challengers and would like to hear some thoughts on yours and if i should buy one or get a new Mustang? thank you for the viewing of this guys TA. !!!!! OH wish he would have started it up with the camera guy behind it, wanted to hear the exhaust note. couldn't hear anything inside the car really on exhaust pipes/mufflers.
