She said she is out of stories in this setting and is taking a break then coming back to writing something new and possibly writing with someone else. Sounds exciting. I just finished This Summer Will Be Different and I loved it! I was so nervous about reading another Carly Fortune book because I didn't really love some of the plot points of Every Summer After. But.... I am so glad I gave her writing another shot! This book is the perfect summer read! :)

Random question: how are you able to read while listening to music with lyrics? I get so distracted and I'm not able to process anything I read especially when it's a song which I know the lyrics. I only listen to instrumental music with no vocals when I read. I've seen so many reading playlists and met quite a few people who can listen to music with vocals with no problem whatsoever! Is there some trick to it or something because I don't understand 😂
