If you go a little deeper and increase bait size on them schools you’ll find the larger ones. Just like crappie fishing 101🫵😉

We have a house on long point and the fishing has been great so far this year. Paddle tails and shrimp have worked well. Trout are up and the reds arent far behind. Tight lines!

Miss your fishing videos. Caught my PB rockfish on a spec rig because of you guys. Love the boat btw. My wife and I upgraded to a boat similar but not as big that we could stay overnight and camp on. It’s the best!

How much headroom is there in the cabin? I’m considering a Judge 24 or 27 and need to know if someone 6’4” tall can walk around comfortably.

What size are your fish finders? How big of a display could you put in that space? We are looking at getting a Chesapeake 27 sometime soon. Nice video of the 24!
@saltlifeadventures3853
@saltlifeadventures3853 4 жыл бұрын
Those are 9 inch displays which would be the largest you could put side-by-side with that current configuration. You obviously could put a larger single display in that space if you wished but I believe most people put two side-by-side from most the photographs that I’ve seen as well as during my visits to the factory. Obviously you can hang displays and put them just about anywhere you want as well. Good luck and I hope you decide to purchase the 27. We love our 24 footer and it has made being on the water a much nicer experience since we’ve gotten the Judge.

Nice day on the water 😎👍. Can you tell me more about your boat? It appears to be a a center console stern drive? I know Albemarle used to build them . I'm interested in buying something like this also. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This boat is a jet drive boat. I believe jet boats are an excellent choice around the ocean city area. In addition, Bayside Jet Drive provides exceptional service and has been a pleasure to work with. They do handle differently and that is certainly a turn off for some people.
@brianlee6849

@@saltlifeadventures3853 The only negative to the jetdrive is efficiency loss compared to stern drive but I've heard the new ones are better? How is your efficiency? What boat is this? Thanks

I’m new to the bay, mostly done solo on lakes up north. Want to start at 90 to get a better feel for the water before I move down to the 50 bridge. I’ll be solo 75% of the time. Are you dropping anchor when you’re out solo or just staying further off the bridge than when your with people?
@saltlifeadventures3853
@saltlifeadventures3853 4 жыл бұрын
You can do it either way. Rt50 Solo: downstream I don’t anchor. Solo upstream I’ll anchor. Use heavier weighted jigheads if positioning upstream. Use light If going downstream for most of the bridge. Rt90 solo: I wouldn’t anchor much at all and I’d also troll around with some 1oz jigheads to try and find fish around the bridge.

Amazing new boat! She's gorgeous. Do you usually cross over from west channel to east at the beginning of the Thorofare and come up the east channel? I like the west side through the Thorofare during the busy season as the boat traffic seems lighter. I've also never had much luck (in 20 years) east of the main channel at the Rt 90 bridge. Spend most of my time north of the bridge on the west side of the channel. Hope to see you out there this summer if us part timers ever get allowed back in town.
