Just caught my PB rockfish and flounder yesterday using the spec rig. Tipped them with fishbites. You guys were right. It is the best rig to use. Thanks for all the information. These videos really have taught me a lot.

Excellent work demonstrating and explaining the rigs! I'll be throwing one or two of them down towards OC this year :D

Another great video. Now I'll have to start using bucktails again. I'm really starting to like Z-man products. One bait can last several trips. I super glue them on jigs and they don't come off. It takes a lot of blues to tear them up.

Excellent video. I’d like to try the buck tail more this spring. I fish in the Chesapeake around the Chesapeake bay bridge. I use acme kastmasters and it KILLS it year round. I have 2 questions.... 1. I’m going to assateague 2 weekends from now to fish from shore. What should I try? 2. In the spring when big stripers come, do you change how you fish to catch the big ones or do you just find that the fish are bigger? Thanks. Good video.

1. While it will be a little early, I don’t think you can go wrong with chunks of fresh bunker in the surf. I went through multiple lines one with fresh bunker, the other with clams to see if I could get a hold of some of the black drum. Still might be a little early but that would ensure you have a good chance. 2. Larger stripers are caught around the jetty on artificial‘s which we basically use year round. You could cast some larger size ones such as six or 7 inches but most of the reports or them being caught are on regular sized tackle- Roy rigs and top water. Are used an acme Kastmaster last fall and had a beautiful striper that straightened the hook out. I have since switched the hooks to something stronger and expect it to work really well the spring once I see more of them showing up. Can’t wait to try it!

What size thundermist teaser T do you prefer? It looks to be a small or medium. Maybe you like to mix it up? Thanks!

Generally speaking, I go to the oceanic pier for live bait. I go to all tackle in West Ocean City for general items and chum. I like to support the lead pot in Dagsboro Delaware for lead, jig heads, bucktails and soft swim baits.
