1. In which IDE is your code written? 2. Is it possible to convert your code from CUDA to OpenCL?
@tanmayteaches
@tanmayteaches 9 күн бұрын
- I was using vim, a command line text editor that I'm a fan of. I usually prefer coding in vim directly instead of using an IDE, unless I need it for a specific reason (like working with an API I'm unfamiliar with). - I'm sure it's possible to convert my approach to use OpenCL instead of CUDA, but I'm not super familiar with writing OpenCL code. If I ever end up experimenting with OpenCL and write a version of this code, I'll be sure to get back to you!

How do I start coding like you, I’m very inspired by you dude and some years back I saw the robot in development in Niagara Falls. I’m in Grade 7 right now and I went to the same school as you (Great Lakes public school) I saw you made your own iOS app 10 or 11 yrs back. Thanks dude.

Great video! Thanks! There is just one very basic thing that I didn't understand - How could you separate the images to anchor, positive and negative triplets if you didn't have the classes already labeled?
@tanmayteaches
@tanmayteaches 9 ай бұрын
Hi Rotem - Thanks for reaching out! You *do* need to have an understanding of which classes the images fall into in order to separate the into the anchor/positive/negative triplets. However, because the loss function doesn't explicitly call for *class labels*, and instead calls for what are effectively "reference/similar/dissimilar" triplets, the objective may mathematically be more well suited for certain use cases (e.g. when you want the latent space learnt by the model to be "shaped" a certain way).
@rotemgabay8953
@rotemgabay8953 9 ай бұрын
Hi @@tanmayteaches , thank you for your quick reply! Can you please give a bit more information of a use case for using triplet loss? What did you mean by "shaped a certain way"? Also, how would I have an understanding of the classes if I don't have their labels? And if I do have their labels, why using unsupervised method and not classification algorithms (like adding one more dense layer to the NN with sigmoind activation function)?
