THAT's so awesome to visit all those haunts and give out awards. You have a lot of great haunts in your area. I'm afraid where I'm at it is more of a desert of haunters, Although I joined NorCal Haunters group, they're mostly south bay. I’m not going to lie, I’m kinda blown away by the fact that your yard display just casually featured props from some pretty iconic films of the era, probably going largely unnoticed for all intents and purposes(like if I saw any of that back then, I would never know it was real). There’s just something special about that to me.

Haha, you are so right! Nobody even knew that those were actual movie props in my yard, it’s so crazy to think back on! And you know what else is crazy, I actually just left that stuff out on my lawn for days! Omg! Anyone could have walked into my yard and ran off with an actual Freddy glove from Nightmare on Elm st 2, or a Carol Ann corpse from Poltergeist 2, or other props as well! What a different time! And it’s pretty insane that my boss at the FX shop I was working at just let me take whatever props I wanted to use in my Halloween display, I mean that is just freakin nuts haha!
