Honestly, that would be an interesting option. I also find that the head unit it a bit too low for comfort. It's difficult to look at it while driving.

Just a quick tip wrap girl I noticed from previous video you still have pre cats installed on your engine . Ditch them ASAP they will destroy your engine rings. Buy a header set and install. One of the failings of that model MR2

A british man, just added a radio in to his MR2 Spyder and it fit better, but covered the heat and air vents due to the screen, but maybe the screen moves lower to overcome that. I am looking for a good GPS Radio/DVD one for my MR2 Spyder.

I have one more question regarding this informative video. I have just bought a double din stereo for my (same as your) car. At the very end you added the outer bezel. I bought my car that already had a (very bad) aftermarket stereo. I do not have the outer bezel you have. Mine looks like yours did just after fitting, before fitting the outer bezel. Do you know where I can get one/part number? Was the stereo at the beginning on this the original?

The stereo at the beginning I assume is a Japanese aftermarket stereo from the previous owner. I don’t know the oem bracket part number, but it seems like some people used the Metra bracket 99-8300. The one I used, with just the two side bezel brackets that I had to break, is called a Metra 95-8202 Dash Kit.

Quite an informative video. One thing I will say, which I'm in no way trying to be offensive. You make the MR2 look quite roomy, which suggests that you're around 5' tall. I'm 6'3 and have very little legroom in mine.

I’m so glad it was helpful! ☺️ Ahaha yes, I’m actually exactly 5ft tall and probably have way more legroom - one of the few perks of being small 😅 It’s actually surprisingly hard to find a car where I can actually fully drive and reach the clutch

@@thatmr2girlschannel931 oh right, I hadn't thought of that! The Japanese aren't generally tall people, although I'm sure there must be a few tall ones. Hence they tend to design their cars for smaller occupants. So for you with a couple of clicks forward on the seat, you're probably a good fit... Happy driving!

For future reference, many parts stores will rent out (often free with a refundable deposit) the special steering wheel pulling tool. Makes life 100x easier to do things with the proper tool! Especially a specialized thing like pulling a steering wheel.

Great video Im gonna buy a dnd steering wheel And if I dont use quick release ,can I install the steering wheel just with the short hub ?

Thank you! I hope it was helpful for you! ☺️ yes, you can just use the low profile hub kit (no quick release needed) but just make sure it’s compatible with your car! You mat also need to remove your click spring still, but the airbag resistor kit is included.
