The problem here is you had no real plan from the jump. Why go get a degree with no real plan? All that education can’t teach you to think for yourself in an entrepreneurial mindset. Nobody’s going to hand you anything. There’s no real skill obtained. You could’ve easily just started your own business and learned from real experience under a mentor. Business degrees aren’t useless for those who have a real plan. Maybe go and find a gym you’d like to manage and go in there and apply for a management role. It takes a certain mindset. Change your mindset & sell that!!

I think staying enlisted is great for getting some actual experience in an MOS. As an officer it tends to be more of a supervisor position and less of the hands on stuff. At least starting off enlisted is great for getting real experience. You do get to pick your MOS on active duty by the way as long as you qualify. At least on the enlisted side. Not so much if you go officer. The option to pick your job is a big advantage over other branches of the military as they don't let you pick the exact job you want.

Your youth is a problem, too (that will fix itself in time ; ) I am also a vet with a degree - I had a lot of trouble finding something fresh out of the military, because people would look at my age and automatically reject my application. Once you get your foot in any door where upward mobility is an option, your degree is likely to help with promotions - not to mention helping you know the things needed to be better at the job.
