@@brentellison3615 I flew it again and it broke again into several pieces. Honestly got good and putting it back together. I used glue to put everything back together. But to answer your questions, i don’t have any pictures. Once you open it, it’s fairly easy to see where everything goes. My advice is to verify your servos are as lined up as possible before glueing to level out your flight control surfaces.

I ran without a dropper for over 20 years on mtb.. Then I bought one and honestly while is was handy.. I wasnt 200 quid handy.. The only time I went near it was the top or bottom of a run.. It took me slightly longer to undo my quick releases and raise or lower the seat.. Anyways I sold it and went to the ones with the handles you showed here.. Perfect.... Dont need a fancy remote controlled one for 200 bucks thats for sure.. Some people will buy anything, and swear by them.. Im just being honest.. thats how I felt after owning one.. Id much rather spend that kind of dosh elswhere on a bike..

I just picked up an advent x derailleur to go with the advent 9 speed cassette and shifter. I went for the x derailleur v2 because I felt the upgrades to the v2 were worth the extra cost and as long as the shifter matches the cassette, doesnt matter which microshift derailleur you use.

No offence and if I'm wrong and you're really really clean you've never used the on screen tool kit I apologise they are so clean no dust in the horrible blow mould case.And don't buy a full overpriced kit just buy the tools as you need them and build up a kit you will use forever.
@RomansDowntime

@@paulbry754 No offense taken. I like to think if I take good care of my tools, they’ll take care of me. But I only use this on bike maintenance, so they don’t get used for anything else. So it’s easy to take care, clean, and put away.

I love good, expensive tools. My advice for all of this would be to buy a kit like this. Then, if you use a tool a lot or even wear it out, replace it with a high quality version. I've done this with all tools in my life and you end up with a good balance of having everything whilst not spending thousands on tools you barely ever use.

For 200 bucks this box is awesome! I always buy tools. Every time a new problem appears I search for educational videos and get tools I need. And I do this because it's faster than giving my bike to mechanics and waiting... and I can't wait because I need my bike everyday. Most problems can be solved very quickly. Sure some complex tasks left for the bike shop. And it's always good to have a buddy mechanic you can reach out to ;)

Anyone who did this themself, did you transfer the old crown race off the recon to the new fork? Trying to figure out the easiest way and to buy the least amount of specialty tools to make the swap myself. I have the same bike. Was gunna order this fork, and upgrade the front brake.
@RomansDowntime

I used the crown race that came with the bike. You can always pop the recon off and see if the crown race has a gap in it on one side. If it does, you won't need any special tools to swap it over. Its just been a while since I did this, and don't remember myself.

I have two cars a 2015 vw Jetta tdi and a 1931 ford model A. Granted the A I need to use second to climb some hills, I can stay in third down to about 7mph (about 285 rpm) without any issue. In that car first and second are pretty much off road/starting gears. The Jetta is similar with 236 ft/lbs of torque at 1700 rpm and with great torque down to 1000 making 6th useful from 35 to 130 mph. And with its 5500 rpm redline 2nd gear is good from 8 to 50 mph as long as you don’t mind the engine cursing you, your name and your offspring. So to be fair to all the manual owners out there, if you have the right car/setup no road condition is harder with a manual.

Im looking to replace the brakes with hydros since its mechanical but I dont have much hope finding a well branded set of hydro brakes with levers and calipers around for my model, so im sorta forced to get some after market ones. The shifters are different story though ive managed to find some afforable thumb tap shifters that are well branded.
