I just bought a shotgun for the Wife but it doesn't fit correctly! Can you do the Process on a Browning Silver 20 Gauge Shotgun with these Shims!

Great video but I am curious why you did not lap the rings? A nice rifle like that and a good quality scope, I definitely would have lapped those 2 piece rings for even better scope to rings contact. Very nice setup though!

Great Video. However, an important disclaimer: Put the lens covers on the scope before you mount it. I have the same rifle and scope. I mounted it perfectly, then went to add the lens covers, and I realized that you can't mount the front cover when the scope is on the rifle. OOPS.

I never understood drop and cast so never worked on my Browning. This video was very clear, thank you for the information. I made the adjustments to my stock and now my eye is perfectly aligned with the 2 sights. Ready to go shoot sporting clays and get ready for dove season!

Good video. 1 suggestion. You have scope caps, use them. Protect your optics from the solvent.

Can u use cellular cams with just an SD card?
@HuntTheBreakTV2 ай бұрын
Yes. All Browning cellular cameras can be used as a standard trail camera by pulling the SD card. Then you are able to activate the cellular service as needed.

so since there are version of x-bolt rifles in Mcmillan stock, does that mean that if i ever decide to switch this to a Mcmillan stock, it will be compatible?

I hope that Browning might eventually offer those stocks for long actions for aftermarket sale.

I usually clean my gun before I sight in my new rifle. It’s usually about a box of ammo and then I clean it again. I don’t think it’s necessary to constantly clean a barrel after each shot. Good job though

I have bought several new rifles and have have never “ broken in a rifle “ . Never had an accuracy issue. Never rang true to me the who concept..

I bought the one with the McMillan stock. In 6.5 Creedmoor. Upgrade the trigger spring, bolt knob and muzzle brake. OMG. Gun is amazing. Shooting out to 300 yards is to easy. Next is one thousand.

my friend your shooting could benefit greatly from loading your bipod. to do this simply pull the rifle into your shoulder enough to move the bipod rearward and then put your body weight forward to put tension on the legs of the bipod. it helps so much with muzzle rise and stops the gun from jumping so much when you shoot

ha,ha great and top shooters close the opposite eye while shooting, my god unbeleavable such skill,accuracy on target looks more done by a shotgun 😳,not to bad offcorse.

Great video sir. I do something similar but with 6 rounds and then work on load development. I have never seen an increase or decrease in accuracy with this method, but I can tell you that breaking a barrel in will make cleaning much easier.

Definitely the easiest was if your turret is level. I couldn’t find a level point on my swaro z5 even when rotating the turret, is just isn’t level. The only way I could do it was with a plumb bob and the wheeler barrel level.

I run custom 6.8 so I love the round also. Number one rule you enjoy what you’re doing so keep right on rolling. You ask for a tip, if you will notice the two that went out the bottom you were what I call turkey necking as in no follow through and looking over scope. Be shure and follow though. Not busting your balls what so ever just trying to help. Enjoyed the video keep having fun!

Nice rifle. Still has those crap mounting screw holes though. I know so many people that have stripped those out. They need to beef that action up more and put them right down the center of the action like they used to.

I have had five X bolts and still have three. Never stripped a mounting screw. I imagine those examples are from people twisting screws like a gorilla.

I love my x bolt 6.8 western, however it hates the 175gr browning ammo. Shoots the 162 coppers sub moa... took my bull elk last year at 554yds. I wish we had more aftermarket support for this round. It truly is incredible. Thanks for the content.
@biggs87297 ай бұрын
I've never heard anyone say they liked the 162 copper's. That's good for you, there's lots of that stuff on the shelf. Aside for having terrible accuracy in my rifle, I bet those copper bullets hammer. Congrats on your elk. I'm jealous, I didn't draw this year.

Call them. They will tell you what to get if you have a common scope. Vortex, Leopold etc. They were not 100% sure on my Sheperd scope but will go with mediums on my 50mm objective lense for now and go higher if needed
