I love my x bolt 6.8 western, however it hates the 175gr browning ammo. Shoots the 162 coppers sub moa... took my bull elk last year at 554yds. I wish we had more aftermarket support for this round. It truly is incredible. Thanks for the content.

I've never heard anyone say they liked the 162 copper's. That's good for you, there's lots of that stuff on the shelf. Aside for having terrible accuracy in my rifle, I bet those copper bullets hammer. Congrats on your elk. I'm jealous, I didn't draw this year.

Fellow 6.8 Western shooter, Thanks for posting! I am running an XPR, so 1-8" twist. I am working up loads with the 160-grain Hammer bullets. Keep the content coming!

that group size is pretty good for box ammo. especially with the variable wind conditions. keep shooting that 6.8 man the cartridge needs to catch on because its a dandy.

I appreciate that. I’m happy with it for sure.

Just got my browning max LR in 6.8 western and its a dream to shoot. Now if we can just get more support on this awesome cartridge!! Keep the videos coming!!

I run custom 6.8 so I love the round also. Number one rule you enjoy what you’re doing so keep right on rolling. You ask for a tip, if you will notice the two that went out the bottom you were what I call turkey necking as in no follow through and looking over scope. Be shure and follow though. Not busting your balls what so ever just trying to help. Enjoyed the video keep having fun!

I'll pay more attention to that. Thank you!

my friend your shooting could benefit greatly from loading your bipod. to do this simply pull the rifle into your shoulder enough to move the bipod rearward and then put your body weight forward to put tension on the legs of the bipod. it helps so much with muzzle rise and stops the gun from jumping so much when you shoot

ha,ha great and top shooters close the opposite eye while shooting, my god unbeleavable such skill,accuracy on target looks more done by a shotgun 😳,not to bad offcorse.

How is the recoil with the muzzle break? Nice gun thinking of the western or stalker long range.
@HuntTheBreakTV Жыл бұрын
The recoil isn’t bad at all with that muzzle break. I haven’t shot it without the break.
@adamshaw8214 Жыл бұрын
Muzzle break on a 6.8 western is totally unnecessary and ridiculous. It has no recoil to begin with.

Shows to go you, that's too damn far for ethical shooting... fun on the range, but thats it....
