The Last of Us. Incredible story with mediocre gameplay. Never want to replay after first playthrough. A solid 6/10 game. How on earth is it better than something like Arkham City? A great story along with deep and fun gameplay. Fantastic combat system, deep stealth mechanics, fun puzzles, fun open world to traverse. What does tlou has? Basic third person shooter mechanics. Basic "go behind enemy and stab" stealth. Terrible "move the plank" puzzles. Boring bare minimum gameplay. How on earth can you put this on first place just because the story is fantastic. This is a game, not a movie sir.

I think it flopped because it was too far detached from actual djing compared to guitar hero, especially the drums and microphone. There is potential using a similar controller and having a gameplay more focused on quick beatmatching and transitions rather than this niche turntableist approach

i just got recommended this video, the fact you put LIVE higher than warriors of rock has to be an april fools joke, not sure if you are around but your list sucks and also aerosmith should be higher as well. well fuser was 2020 dj hero but they shut it down as well by not releasing any more music dlc content so that console players wouldn’t have any more new content for the game and apparently pc players were Still playing it after that cause there were mods where u could insert ur own songs in it then after that no other dj hero or fuser games was released or mentioned

You’re definitely right about it being released at the wrong time. Given the popularity of tools like Ultimate Vocal Remover now, Mashups are much more well-known now.

before I got the video game Guitar Hero: Van Halen, I wasn't totally familiar with their music. I mean I did listen to Running with the Devil, Jump and Jamie's Crying but that's it. then after I played the Beatles rock band, I was getting interested in these video games then I thought, "is there any other video games based off of bands?" then I found out that there is a Van Halen video game. I played it and I loved it and I still love to this day. this game is perfect for David Lee Roth fans.

Even in 2024, I will not accept any slander to Guitar Hero Warriors Of Rock! That game was a straight up love letter to Guitar Hero fans, and the over the top story and characters made the game so much fun to play

Guitar hero 5 is the one I play the least the songs are mid at best theres like 5 songs that are good I like smash hits better than 5 🤷‍♂️

Rocks the 80s was my first guitar hero game and although it’s not as good as guitar hero 2 I still have great memories and has a great soundtrack. And smash hits is great if u like rock band guitars and want to play guitar hero 3 songs with a rock band guitar then this is the only way to do it without a pc.

One of my favorite aspects of this game is that the song used for the easiest chart in the game, the tutorial, is also the song with the hardest chart in the whole game. A song that progressively taunts and berates the listener who wants to be a DJ, which sounds funny in the tutorial, becomes absolutely threatening in the hardest difficulty. Groundhog (Beat Juggle) is the GOAT

The arrows pointing in the same direction was supringly easy for me, but a few songs where you had to physically break your fingers just to scratch the button closest to the slidding fadder always killed me.

I got 2 cooys of each DJ hero game with 3 controllers for it. And 1 old ass ps3 because im too lazy to see if itll work on my PC for the PS3 emulator. I plan to buy the wii dj hero controller one day so i can play the DJ hero customs songs on PC.

Out of all the Guitar Hero titles, GH: Van Halen baffles me the most in terms of why did they even make it in the first place? VH wasn’t experiencing any resurgence in popularity when it was in development (the 2007-08 reunion tour was long over with no future plans in sight at the time), no long-time bassist Michael Anthony but instead a 16-year-old Wolfgang, and the GH franchise as a whole was a dying fad by that point. Out of all the acts they could’ve choose for their third band-focused entry, why Van Halen? A big DLC package of VH songs for GH5 or WoR would’ve worked just fine.

You are in my head this video was written in my brain You still wrote the words but you did it in my brain it’s the only way i can explain it I was constantly nodding throughout this almost 40 min video, feeling happy and relieved that someone else had this game featured somewhere in their childhoods I am also very sad about this channel, because it feels like i just found out someone in my hometown had my same exact interests and moved out years before i came back to visit my parents, i would love to hear more about what you think about things and it seems you have decided to not make more videos, or you moved on to something else and whatever you’re doing, i hope this finds you! this is a great video.
