yeah i dont think he had an illness but i get where you are coming cuz i thought the same thing at one point especially when it first happened but i believe that the weight loss was from depression because lack of appetite is a symptom of depression also i wondered why he didnt take antidepressants either cuz i know he went to therapy and his therapist sucked but there was never no mention of medication but maybe he did take it and we just didnt know about it but still that wouldnt make sense cuz he would be better if he did. i just think it wasnt a disease that he was dealing with but i do think he was dealing with physical problems because he was an idol and as an idol you are starved and overworked and that takes a toll on your body also what prob had an effect on him was his lack of sleep because as an idol you only sleep like 3 hrs or smth and jonghyun had insomnia so some nights he didnt sleep so yeah so his head was not in a clear state i can understand why he felt the way he did and jonghyun had been dealing with depression for years so it was hard for him also you got through pains and aches cuz of these things and jonghyun had went through a car crash years ago where he had to get his nose down so maybe he was still having pain from that also last thing he had ankle surgery too in like 2011 he got crowded in jakarta
