They won't do Egypt. As you pointed out, they've already plugged all the African-inspired mons they wanted in SV. They also had an entire Savannah biome at Blueberry Academy. As cool as it would be to explore, I also think Egypt is too close to zones of political conflict for a modern-time Pokemon game to take place there 😐

Knowing that south Kalos was cut content, it makes me more disappointed that legends ZA will only be in lumiose city. Yes I’m still excited for ZA, though I would love to see Kalos in full. It was the pokemon game I started with, it still gives me a ton of nostalgia, and because of that it’s one of my favorite games. I would love to be able to travel to south Kalos in Za or atleast a DLC (even though it’s doubtful)

I think two complete forms of Zygarde doesn't make sense so I am glad they didn't go through with that. I don't like Zygarde's complete form to be honest. The stat boost was pretty lame. Core Enforcer being a special move was dumb since its physical attack is better. I refuse to believe south kalos was a thing. Kalos is pretty big as it is so there wouldn't be need for a south area.

Pokémon should be Pokémon, no matter how Japanese it is. Keep the anime aesthetics to save memory size for the extra fun gameplay content and mechanics, attractive sex dimorphic characters for the character interaction and customization freedom, Japanese names similar to how Ralf and Clark from SNK and even Erika the Tamamushi City Gym Leader kept theirs in the English versions, and have world immersion like separate Pokémon Centers and stores with interiors. I am fine with Kantō, Jouto, Houen, and Shin'ou being revisited with the new features that can offer replay value.

Would also like to note that Spain and Mexico do have hot environments, Spain, mostly toward the south near Africa. I mostly see references to Mexico (Day of the Dead or Cinco de Mayo) as well as New Orleans references with Baron Samedi with the fire bird and ghost type stuff as well as musical denotation. My favorite aspect of the games is collection. I never bother with spinoff games because of that. But if they made more Pokémon that are only in the spinoff games, like Manaphy, I'd be much more keen on buying and playing them too.

Tbh, does Pokemon need saving? Look at how much every game sells. The community as a whole needs to hold GF accountable but not purchasing a mediocre product, but that won't happen cuz everyone is consumed by FOMO. I still haven't purchased Scarlet and Violet or Legnds Arceus.

In my opinion, Pokemon doesn't need to be saved as it is doing fairly well. Also I don't think the Switch 2 would be too big of an improvement. We won't get a collection of old pokemon games since Pokemon doesn't do collections. Even if ports happen, they do it separately. And we be forced to rent them and not own them. Which is why ports should not happen. Just do remakes which are better since they have quality of life improvement.

I think it would be amazing if the "switch 2" would import some 3ds games. I know it's a bit too much, but if they did this for the first switch with the game boy games, they can totally do it with the switch 2.
