Don’t ever trust a guy who wears a Home Depot hat and uses SharkBite fittings to transition from copper to PEX.

I saw this and wanted to do it like this in my kitchen but it’s an exterior wall and some people say keep water supply out of an exterior wall. I was planning to spray foam too, I was even thinking about putting an access panel. Is this too risky, should I stub out the floor?

My house was built in the 80s. Do all of the outlets within 6 feet all have to be gfci? Or only the first one on the string? Also I have one under the sink that powers a diahwasher & under the sink garbage disposal/ disposer.

Hello! In the videos for remodeling the kitchen and moving the sink, did the customer have a garbage disposal? I was wondering if the plumbing would be effected if I extended the plumbing and added a bend to the plumbing down to the existing pipe.

It is a good thing that it is not rocket science because because those two would be in trouble, lets just say they are not the brightest bulbs in the bunch.

That's so weird - because I thought they were freaking AWESOME. I actually commented on how the guy actually doing the work was obviously a 'natural teacher'. Some people get irritated if they have to go too in detail, but this guy kept making sure that everything was explained - even something as obvious as what "male and female" would mean with regard to the fittings. He assumed nothing.

Hey buddy, they meant that it's not difficult so don't be intimidated. If you don't understand that, then perhaps you are not the brightest bulb.

What do you think goes in the floors of multi million dollar homes , apartments , condos , townhomes etc… there’s no hardwood in those mega complexes worth millions , with all the different temperatures people keep their homes at , huge windows with sunlight for hours , heavy foot traffic , hardwood would be destroyed quickly , that’s why these products are made , ever hear of nu wud product ?? That’s what goes in these complexes , engineers and designers for these multi million dollar complexes are always looking for the best product, and it sure ain’t hardwood flooring in those places , rich people know the difference, so why wouldn’t you use a much more durable product in your home like the ones they use in mega homes , complexes. that’s the stuff I’d use , hardwood look will always be king , though it’s just not practical anymore
@brad4541
@brad4541 3 жыл бұрын
How can you say put hardwood ? let’s get real , hardwood floors belong no where near a kitchen , bathroom , laundry rooms etc… Years ago homes were all boxed off , living room , foyer , dining room etc… then you had numerous different floors to accommodate the home and rooms , carpet ruled for decades then hardwood came , and hardwood was used mostly in dining rooms where you can control your guests , nowadays everything is opened up , how could you put hardwood thorough out and tip toe your family and guests , pets. the reason for LVP , LVT which has come a long way was people were saying we love hardwood though don’t like tip toeing on it , granted hardwood is beautiful and the look will always be for that hardwood look, though LVT LVP and many other products are dominating over hardwood and are much more durable than it, period.

I sure wish the video went into the next cabinet. It ended, saying there is a video or a series for the next flush cabinet. I can not find a video that shows how to shim upper cabinets that are flush on the front.
