Great video. Very helpful. Actually picking one of these up next week. My only issue is that the equinox I’m turning in is a 2022. My current payment is $260 per month. The car that I’m leasing next week requires a $2000 down payment in order to get the monthly payments down to $347 per month.Thats crazy! And that’s with a GM discount point! I’m a retired person on a budget and I didn’t want to buy a trax. No thank you. And not much else to pick from when you’re on a budget . And thie 2025 LT does not have the power liftgate or power seats which I have on my current 2022. In order to get those two options I would have to pay an additional $1000-$2000. As a retired person, I’m trying to keep my payments lower but I certainly don’t want to put that much money down on a leased vehicle. I’ve been leasing for the past 12 to 15 years. When this lease is up in 2 to 3 years, I may buy a car and hope that it lasts me for quite a while. I would have liked the RS model, but my budget doesn’t allow for it so LT it is. I went with the Lakeshore blue because I’m getting pretty tired of silver and gray and black. I really wish Chevy would put out a deep burgundy/merlot metallic. The red they offer is just too bright in my opinion. Anyway, I’m looking forward to picking up my new vehicle next week, I’m just not happy about the $90 jump in monthly car payments with a down payment.

I should mention that my last three cars have been equinoxes. I love everything about them, but haven’t really checked out any other vehicles to compare.

Equinox is the most comfortable vehicle in this segment, specifically for taller people. The height of center console and the place on the door where you rest the elbow, both are at an excellent height. Very comfortable on longer drives. Zero strain on neck and shoulders. @MattTheCarguy10 күн бұрын
I am glad you like your K4. What engine recall are you referring to? There is a fuel pump recall listed for Civics and Steering gearbox recall. Keep in mind that these are voluntary recalls as a precaution by manufacturer to avoid possible failures of the affected components. BTW dealer must complete a recall before selling a brand new vehicle so something does not seem right if they sold you one with an open recall.

I’d take the Accord LX over this because of ergonomics. The Accord has physical HVAC controls with permanent functions. Kia has a capacitive panel below the vents, and the spots within the panel, as well as the knobs, have 2 functions, and to switch between the sets of functions, you have to press a capacitive button, which can easily be missed if you look at the road and not down below the vents (as a safe driver should)

I just bought the 2025 G550. Yes, I understand the loss of the V8. When I started the engine, I was initially put off by the underwhelming I6 sound. However, after a good test drive, and now having driven it for the past few days, I have come to appreciate the character of the new power train. It has its own, unique appeal, and the whole package works together in an effective way. I love a V8 in a 4WD vehicle. In the mid 90’s, I owned a ‘94 Land Rover D90 with the 3.9L V8, so I’m no stranger to a “purists” off roader. I took that vehicle all over the Colorado mountains and Utah desert. I’ve had mostly V8 4WD vehicles since. Fast forward to the 2025 G550. It’s a pleasure on the highway, losing the drone, but it’s still G wagon at its core. I look forward to taking off road, after replacing the silly performance road tires for a more sensible set of AT tires.
