My mom grew up on a farm a couple miles from the dam. I used to ride my bike to the dam during visits to my grandparents. Also my uncle and grandad had their fishing picture posted at the old visitors center for years until they renovated.

Hi John! I received that exact same letter in the mail today. First I said to myself "WTF?" and then I said "Google it". Yep, saw that it was a scam and then saw your video. I just want to say thanks for caring for the average guy and woman and looking out for those that are easily scammed. I may be "old" but I still have my wits about me and still use common sense. YOU DA MAN! By the way, I see that your company is in North Carolina. I hope that you, your family, and your team are all safe.

Great idea. Do you have more information about how you installed it in the ceiling? Also, how tricky is it to swing heavy furniture loads over the rail upstairs in order to off load the delivery? Thanks.

@@hand123 our carpenter bolted it up somehow so I can’t say exactly how he did it. It’s not tricky to swing stuff over the rail at all, but we also made it where we can remove the rail if we had to for really big items. So far, I’ve only ever taken it off one time when we first moved in. After that, I just pulled over the rail.

Very nice. Not sure on the lot size or price. I just saw a beautiful 3,500 sq ft restored mansion, on 1/2 acre, in Iowa for $195,000. If this is anywhere near that price, I'd rather have yours. This place is really cool.

Everyone should test. I live in a low radon area and my basement is tightly sealed. I shouldn't have a radon problem...correct? Wrong! 18 pCi/L in the basement. Under 1.5 pCi/L in the main floor, probably because we have an ERV. Radon easily permeates through 5" of concrete slab. If I turn off the radon fan, In just 24 hours, it's back at 18 pCi/L. We don't spend much time down there so hopefully, no damage was done, but I have a woodworking and metalworking shop down there and I may spend 8 hours a day for a month a year working on projects. At least I can work down there now and not have to be concerned about it since my numbers are now 0.4 pCi/L in the basement. Since I personally sealed every crack and gap when I built the house, it's very tightly sealed so I'm a little lower on the CFMs than I wan to be. I could get the readings even lower by adding air inlet ports at the far end of the basement to bring outside air in under the slab to help with air flow but 0.4 pCi/L is probably not worth the time to bore holes and run pipe.

Very nice home, plenty of room, and the basement and extra porches are wonderful .It looks like a lot of thought went into the planing of this home. All it needs is a couple of acres and a creek or pond .Picturing something like that on my land in South East Tennessee .
