The wild Rabbit is definitely fitter and faster than the domesticated one.

Is that a pure Hotot? Hotot are only supposed to have black around the eyes. I have 2 rabbits looking the exact same as this one, with black around eyes and black spots, but I was told they are a diffrent breed, but starting to think they could have some Hotot genes

Be careful when letting your domestic animals interact with wild ones. They could carry some infections and illnesses the domestic doesn’t have immunity to.

These idiots are unbelievable. Whether you agree with her or not, let her speak, wait your turn, and debate her. The administration is most at fault and should have stepped in.

It reminds me of a children's story I read when I was a kid. The story was about a wolf meeting a dog and their different health and lifestyle. Wolf was struggling to get food so it was skinny, it's body filled with wounds and thin coat that often failed to protect it from winter. Meanwhile dog was fed well so it was fat and it's coat luscious. Wolf asked it's secret so that it could also live like that and dog said it just had to obey masters and bark at night outside the house and they feed you well. Wolf thought it's easy to do but when it saw the chain attached to dog's neck, it asked about it and found out it had to always sit at one place and stay around masters. As soon as it realized that, wolf backed away since he couldn't digest the cost it had to pay. It said it would rather eat bare minimum and be skinny than loosing its abilities to defend itself and freedom to go anywhere and went away.

Different lives, but playing is universal. The wild one gets into that dirt patch and just disappears.

Ik this is old but as interesting and funny as it is to see them interact its also very irresponsible and puts both animals at risk from contracting and spreading potential disease and/or parasites to one another, its happened before, just think people should be more mindful for both their own pets and wildlife

No. The wild Hare literally was attacking the Pet initially. Pet held its own because it feels territorial. This was not any sort of cute meeting…

Don't do this. Seriously. Wild rabbits can pass horrible diseases and infections to your pets, as well as injure them in fights. Keep your pets away from wild animals. For their sake. Internet clout isn't worth a sick, injured, or dead animal.
