@@aussieshedtalk7811 yea I have a VC valiant ute 360 727 9 inch pretty rare I'm not racist when it comes to cars I love them all just have a little soft spot for my Mopars I had a white HT ute 20 years ago with a 350 in it one of the best cars I have owned if we only knew then what we know now we would have sheds full 👍

I had one , bought new ,liked the styling ok the trouble was in the build quality. The assembly lines of the day were shocking for quality control. I had at least a dozen faults under (12 month) warranty and probably as many that I didn’t find under warranty. Would have been a good Ute if it had been built properly. I later bought a well used XW Falcon Ute and it was a far better vehicle. Davox.

@@craig8187 I know, just winding the Ford guys up! We vintage race a Chevy de Ville here in South Africa, (Holden HQ in Aus) and used the Top Loader for a time...did manage to weld the input shaft to the main shaft, though.

rear hr only 2inch lowed springs 2inch lowering blocks front on hr front end....hk stub axel disk caliper and disk all fits ezey.that gives you 4 inchs rear .hk lowers it 2 .5 inchs front .i have 3 inch cut heavy duty springs on front 5.5 inch lower all up .and better brakes.all so 2 inch lowed front shocks rebuilt so they dont bottom out all the time .it is still legal height at crossmember. pls let me know how you go

Cheers mate, it just runs the standard chassis, has a HR front end in it, 202, a 3 speed manual gearbox and a HR rear diff in it aswell.

Call me old school, I hate car computers. So easy these days to use a modern HP Holley. (The ones with adjustable everything on them including air bleeds, 4 corner idle adjustment etc.) And a good quality A/F guage to tune it while on the road, like they do in America now. Don't even need a dyno any more.

Agreed mate, the Holley carbs are set up great from the factory, all we did was played with jet sizes and played with idle.
