A 16 anni ascoltavo questa musica mentre con il telescopio osservavo il cielo notturno, vagavo fra nebulose e galassie accompagnata da queste note meravigliose che rendevano lo spettacolo del cielo ancora più maestoso. Provavo una emozione indescrivibile che porto sempre nel cuore e che, al ricordo, ritrovo ancora adesso che di anni ne ho 50.

When I was a kid we had exactly one cow ,a Guernsey just like this one called Nelly and I'd follow her around the paddock. Once she lay down on my puppies by accident....sad story all dead!. I don't remember if i bought ummagumma first or atom heart mother but I'm sure Nelly had something to do with it. Years I wouldn't eat or drink dairy products cause my father killed her calf. I was afraid he'd kill me too if I got fattened up like he did the calf. Even crazier my brother 's name was Eugene who when he grew up killed his young son's dog. I'm 75 now and Pink Floyd and especially this album has my past wrapped up in it. I still love it! The album not my past!

Just love this album, but in all honesty I personally think Animals is the one and only masterpiece of Floyd, followed closely by Roger's Amused to death, then Radio K.A.O.S (Yes I know, they're not Floyd) but what the fuck do I know. BUT I hear you all say, what about Wish You Were Here and The Wall, then there's the post Water's Floyd albums. Well the least said about post Water's Floyd the better..............just my opinion.
