Apophis still would exist after the world serpent imo. If he is truly an immortal creature not tied by fate. I think Apophis would win no matter what.

Wow! This video is an incredible deep dive into the world of mythology! The way it brings to life legendary giants like Atlas, Jörmungandr, and Cronos is absolutely captivating. I love how it also highlights lesser-known but equally fascinating beings like the Frost Giant, Typhon, and the Leviathan.

can you pronounce the names correctly next time??
@mythxhunter4 күн бұрын
I’m sorry, but could you let me know which one? I’ll do my best to make it sound right. It would really help if you could tell me the correct pronunciation, though, because most of what I’ve been using comes from the pronunciation guides in the how-to videos I watched. Some of them are quite difficult to pronounce correctly using TTS, so I apologize if it sounded wrong. even though I try to spell it the way it should be pronounced, the speech still doesn’t say it properly.
@christopherpeterson41074 күн бұрын
@mythxhunter I know it takes a lot of work to do these videos, and I really enjoyed it. Cyclops was a big one for me on how it was pronounced, but then again, I should keep in mind that not everyone speaks the same in this world 😅 keep doing what you are doing, my friend.

i googled it just in case lol. Sekhmet whose name means: “She who is powerful” or “the One who loves Ma'at” was the goddess of the hot desert sun, plague, chaos, war, and healing. you need to read more books or at least learn to search there are multiple gods of war in Egyptian mythology you even put some of them LMAO.

7:33 you cannot be putting Sekhmet above Apophis. The one almost brought the total annhilation of humanity, the other is an indestructible force of chaos, the eternal enemy of the pantheon leader and creator and the one who if unchecked will plunge the entire world into chaos.
@mythxhunter12 күн бұрын
I hear you, and you might have a point. However, this is a list of destroyers, and Sekhmet ranks above Apophis here, at least based on their feats. That said, if we're talking about sheer strength, I’d agree that Apophis takes the top spot in my opinion.

There are many books that cover these myths, as they come from various mythologies. It's not just books-I also explore other websites to research them. Sometimes, people from the regions where these myths originated share fascinating details in the comments, which can be even more interesting than what's in the books. You can search for books on Norse, Greek, and other mythologies on Google, and you'll often find resources like PDFs of the Norse Eddas and similar texts at the top of the results
