About the population growth of ethnic kazakhs, kazakhstans population should be around 30-40mill if not for soviet ethnic cleanings around 1920-1950 years. Our population was around 4.5million kazakhs in soviet union in 1920 and over 5million globally, however after ethnic cleaning od soviets our population had dropped to 1.5 million and we became the minorities in our own country. Despite soviet tyrannic rule we have managed to save our population and there are about 18 million kazakhs globally. And most of population growth came with independece after the 1991. Other minorities in russia such as tatars and bashkirs remained their population the same way and had not grew since 1991. For instance tatar population in russia in 1920 were the same as kazakhs around 4 million and today in 2024 there are only 5 million tatars in russia. This shows how ineffective is to stay under kremlin rule for all ethnic minorities due to extremely poor management of russian rulers. Even the russian population is declining/stagnant after 1991 which shows that Russia had only grew its russian population by conquests and assimilating minorities after conquering.
