Exactly what I was looking for and even better because I didn’t know that a see through plastic was even an option. Thank you!

This isn’t important at all, but just to help in the future, lamé is pronounced “lamay” not “lame.”

This is such an amazing idea and tutorial!! I wanna make a lantern shaped bag for a cosplay and while the shapes gonna be different this is is a huge help with some tips like cardboard, yawn on the seams and the buckles! Great video!

I have to set the record straight here and sorry to disappoint but cats hate collars around their necks. The fact they have no choice and you do is even worse. Just to note they then have to wait for the owner to remove it which could be days or even weeks. Imagine the stress you create by doing it.

thank you so much for helping me figure this out!! didn't realise it would be so easy. my cat will be rocking his ruff soon!

Great creation. My suggestion would be to use thin plastic instead of cardboard which will eventually get worn out and if it gets wet, forget about it. But great job, very cute

Delightful! I recently thought of making a ruff for one of my cats, and now I decided to look up how to do it just in general. This just happened to be the top result.

What a cool idea! I am curious to know what the changes are that you mentioned at the end of the video. My husband said he would love to see this as a pillow instead of a bag, so that may be happening for Christmas! I just have to figure out how to use my mom's embroidery machine...

How do I copy your serger video with my lightweight machine its a Brother LX3817A. I got it awhile ago and only use it for straight stitching my star quilts.

Hi! I wasn’t familiar with that specific model but I looked it up. It looks like if you turn the stitch dial to number 5 to one of those zig zags first and line up the fabric to the edge of the stitch and sew along the edge of the fabric then sew over it with a straight stitch you’ll be able to achieve that surged look. Hope that helps!

One thing she might have done different is to apply the interfacing before cutting the triangles - far less drama for glue on the iron, far less ironing, half the cutting...

Quick Note to anyone following this making their own, after I made the video I played with the mask for a bit and ended up adding a final layer of 100% cotton because the stabilizer wasn’t comfortable against my mouth for a long period of time. So my new layers are: Breathable fashion fabric Fusible Interfacing X2 Cut-away Stabilizer (both for the design and to act as filter) 100% cotton fabric Hope this helps ♥️ Stay healthy and safe

I found you on tik tok and came here for the dice bag not planning to subscribe. Then you said the words "making my wife's yule present" while holding a small black kitten...and how could I not sub after finding someone who I apparently have things in common with. Also loved the video girl! You have a serious talent I swear!
