Yes, thank you. He comes out to meet me most evenings. He knows when the car reaches because he always comes to meet me and to vroom (he likes pressing the gas pedal and listening to the sound it makes) the car as he puts it. The only time he doesn't come is when he is sleeping. It's such a great feeling.

Hello Carolina, a number of schools are here that you could check out. You can try Mills Institute and shining stars their cost monthly is approximately $500 there are other schools that you could check out when you are on island that maybe less costly but it’s best to go and see the environment before making a choice.

There is a taxi service here that is primarily linked to the tourists coming into the country. We have seen other taxi vehicles, but I'm not sure how they operate because you don't really see them on the road like how you would see taxis in other country. Maybe you might have to get their phone number or go on their website to arrange with them. A lot of people have their own vehicle. However, their is something that is called "jitny" here, which a lot of people use.They are always on the different roadways and will bring you wherever you want to go. Side note(jitny is illegal here). Jitny in Turks and Caicos is liken unto an individual who owns a car and wants to make an extra dollar and decides to "run the road", if you know what I mean. Hope this information is useful.

Standard of living is great. Beautiful beaches, multicultural food, lovely apartments if you are willing to pay the price. Gyms to workout. Earn US dollars 💸. Food is not too expensive. Great video, just subscribed. I am a health care professional and I have the possibility of working in the Turks but I’ve turned down the job offer because the salary was half of what I make here in Canada yet the cost of living is double of Canada. In September I will be going to visit that workplace because I am considering taking a salary cut and moving there for some time. I want to realistically know if I’ll be able to survive without starving. Although the cost you shared here seem reasonable, I do have to keep in mind that this was done two years ago before the crazy inflation. It would be great if you could redo this video in 2024.Thanks again, your family is so adorable 😊 **Also, I do not drive. I always rely on bus or public transportation but of all my research I have heard there is no public transportation in the turks. My potential employer in Providenciales also confirmed that. In one of your comments above you have answered that there is public transportation. Can you please specify? Are there buses or Colectivo vans? Thanks again.

Thank you so much for watching. Yes thats a great idea to take the pay cut and stay here for some time. We will definitely be doing an updated video in the near future. Okay so there is some sort of public transport, but it’s not like a company owned transport like for example Uber. The transport here if you don’t own a car is ‘Jitney’ they don’t drive a specific color car, they don’t have a specific license 🪪 plate, they are privately owned vehicles that they use as taxis. So once you leave out for your apartment and go out on the road, one will stop for you and ask where you are heading and take you to your destination. I hope this helps. That’s awesome, 👏🏾 yes they do have bed, dresser/ chest of drawers, refrigerator, stove, some studio apartments have couch and dining table some don’t. 2 bedrooms usually have couch and dinning table.

I was here on 2/17/2024 (Saturday). This airport became the scene in World War Z where they escape from Israel. I think I have PTSD from the experience. I've been all over the world, to some really sketchy places, and this airport is EASILY the worst airport I've ever been to. It was enough to make me never want to go back. It was chaos. A mosh pit that my wife and I luckily lived through. Even after surviving the ticket counter and security you make it to a small room where all the gates reside. We were shoulder to shoulder, it had to of been a fire hazard. My wife was fortunate enough to be randomly selected by security to be checked at our gate so we were able to push our way through the crowd. Our "booked" flight departed on-time three quarters full. Many were left behind.

@debrakeller7313 zero benefit. We ended up in the VIP line which we didn't pay for because they were just trying to move people. We sort of spilled in to the security room and stayed left into VIP because that's where we were sent.

@debrakeller7313 I've heard it's better if you aren't flying out Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. If you are flying out one of those 3 days then plan on getting to the airport 4-5 hours early so it's not as stressful.

Can you tell me if the prices you coated for rent included furnishings. Also, do they have single homes as in a house in a yard by itself or are there apartments? Do they come furnished and what is the cost furnished 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom. What areas are decent to live yet affordable in terms of rental cost ? Thank you 🙏🏾

Good day Abigail, yes the quote includes furnishing. Bed, dresser, sofa, fridge stove, some places also provide washer and dryer. Yes they do have single homes that they rent here too. Yes they come furnished depending on the area $800 and up. Some places you can get 2 bedroom for $1000. Other areas $1800 up. Some areas are blue hills, south Dock (dusty though), Juba sound,

Good day Paul, thanks for your question. In our case we were contacted 2 months after the interview date. In the offer letter we were given a starting date. So we moved to the island a few days before.
