Hey do you know if it safe to get a tattoo over it ? And does tattoo make it darker?
@codeblue00763 ай бұрын
I have seen many instances of people tattooing over a non-raised nevus (as opposed to a raised mole or birthmark). Since most beckers nevus are light brown color that means red, blue green or black will work the best or any color for dark skin basically. The downside is that any changes in the birthmark would be hard to see after tattooing. That is why a dermatologist may advise a person prone to skin cancer not to tattoo, because they can not visually inspect the area for changes or other moles appearing inside the beckers nevus. I don't think the tattoo ink would increase the risk for malignancy. Of course, a medical professional could give you that answer.

@@yo2241 I'm not sure! Most lasers make it look worse before it heals either way. I'm sure it depends on the type of laser and the laser settings. I got this and the first day it cooled my room really quickly and I felt like I had AC in my room. I even couldn’t sleep because my room was so cold and I didn’t want to get up to turn it off to not lose my sleep because I’m very sensitive with my sleep. But I am like the third day using it, and I’m not sure if it’s the temperature outside that might be much warmer than the first day that I used the fan, but now I don’t feel like it’s cooling down my room as much as the first day. I do feel the air if I stand in front of the fan, but other than that, I don’t feel my room cooling down as much. I am using it vertical, so I’m not sure if I already messed it up within like two days of using it vertical or if this thing just got messed up within two days and has nothing to do with me using it vertical. I’m wondering, is it just supposed to be throwing air in and taking air out, or is it supposed to be cooling down the air like an AC does as I felt at the first day. Another reason why I thought that this could cool down the air as an AC is because you can lower the temperature as you want it to be as I understand. there is a temperature to show what your room temperature is at the moment. But there’s also another temperature button and you can turn that temperature down, but I am trying to follow the directions to turn it down and it seems like I’m turning it down as I press the buttons with my control, but when I check five minutes later, the temperature does not turn down. It’s still the same as I had it before pressing those buttons. Can anybody please answer my questions?
@michaelkryszak52624 ай бұрын
It doesn't actually cool the air like an air conditioner. It can either bring in air from outside or vent air from inside to outside. So, the cooler it is outside, the cooler the air will be. The temperature setting is if it's cooler outside than your desired temperature, the fan will turn off until the temp inside rises again. You won't be able to cool the air any lower than the outside temperature.

You should have given more information about the fan, it works fantastic in the kitchen this is an update, especially when I'm cooking, it's great for blowing the air out which helps get rid of excess smoke and smells that linger from cooking certain foods. I just wish you were a little more thorough on the fan info itself like how to turn the timer off. I actually turned it on and I don't know how to turn it off.

I just received mine yesterday and you were right it didn't say it wasn't meant to be installed vertically, however I did see a KZbin of somebody who did and nobody mentioned that you were not supposed to. I ordered it and I installed it vertically anyway and it seems to be running fine. Although trying to make it where it doesn't fall out with a teeny bit of a challenge but I put a screw with a rubber fat thick washer and that is holding it in. Another thing they didn't mention is that the barcode is only located on the device if you want to connect your Alexa to it. I will have to take it out of the window to find the barcode, but most devices also have the barcode in the manual or on the box. This did not! Otherwise I wouldn't have to pull it out again just to reinstall it. I'm going to look for other ways to try and secure it better in the vertical window. It's ironic that you cannot install it vertically since most new windows today are vertical. Again I wish they would just post the barcode online so I wouldn't have to take it out again to install it on Alexa.

There is not a 4th and 5th speed because that motor has to move/spin that squirrel cage and move a lot of ar, the motor is too small for a 4th & 5th speed. Squirrel cages move a lot more air than an axial blade fan, that is why it is so small.

I think you can put it in vertical, and in fact people do that. I think there are two issues. 1. You need to do more work to get it properly installed and stable. Also, horizontally, there is less chance of rain getting into the fan.

If you use the exhaust instead of trying to blow air in, and open a window on a different side of the room, it will cool your room if outside is cooler. But I don’t think it’s an air conditioner.

Vornado definitely needs to make this for vertical installation as well. From what I can see, this is a first class product. I've had vernado products in the past and find them to be superior to almost everybody. What a lot of people don't realize is that most window fans use typical fan blades that you can see right through, especially when they're running. Make some useless for a bedroom or any privacy at all. I had a couple of fans years ago that used squirrel cage Wheels similar to this. They're perfect. You can't see through them whether the fan is on or off. They're extremely quiet, and if design properly very efficient. I had to rebuild my old ones a couple times simply because they stopped making them and there was nothing else like them on the market. Bravo, Vornado!

Thanks for the review! The old complete-care formula was my all-time fav toothpaste for years for the same reasons you listed: the texture and toned-down flavor (doesn't taste like sugary candy cane, but rather something that'll actually clean my mouth). I'm pissed they made it smoother / more gely. Will definitely not be buying! I would ask how's the new flavor but idc since I'm not buying bc of the texture anyways. I guess I'll try peroxicare? Such a shame bc peroxicare was a little more watery / smoother and mintier the last time I tried it. You said Crest's are toned-down flavor too... may give Crest a try.

@@codeblue0076 I tried some Colgate's and Crest's and couldn't get into it. They tasted sweet just like Lifesaver mints lol, even the baking soda & peroxide versions. I'm going with arm & hammer peroxicare... seems to be the last bitter tasting toothpaste on the market. Who knows how long that'll last with A&H appealing to the wider market. You know the red complete care that just got reformulated has been reformulated before? The old-school one had peroxide, too, not just baking soda. When they took the peroxide out the flavor got watered down/less bitter, but it at least retained the same DNA. images.app.goo.gl/u6zUtTk5EJ8rj9ty5 peroxicare shares that DNA, so that's nice. When they completely get rid of it I'm burning this place to the ground 😂 (jk, NSA. isa joke)

What is the thermostat for. You can lower the temp number but it's a fan not an air condition. It won't lower the air temp does it?
@marlonlyn27192 жыл бұрын
I believe this is for the fan to turn on / Turn off. Let's say it's 30℉ outside and your room will get to a toasty 90℉ because of a high powered gaming rig. if you set the temperature to 60℉ it will shut off so the room doesn't get too cold, and turn back on once it passes the threshold. Another way to look at it is let's say it's outdoors is 90℉ and you have central A/C set to 74℉. You can flush the build up in heat, and then have it turn off. With that being said, I heard the internal vent does not close if it's set to Auto, so take that into consideration.

@warmon67 ай бұрын
Anyone seeing this in the future and asking the same thing, no. Its intake or exhaust. It can not do both at the same time. Also this fan exchanges air between indoors and outdoor. It does not recirculate indoor air only (in fact the way its designed, it can't do that unless you dont have this mounted in a window)
