This is great. Do you have anymore train videos or pictures in Robbins?

Kim used to run the Palmetto all the time. Now she’s on the Silver Meteor or Silver Star. Miss having her in my neck of the woods.

I wonder if there is anyway to actually go up in the cab of a CSX here in Florida. Bucket list item of mine. Can an engineer do this ? Or is it a huge no no

I have a Choo Choo Vision Train Camera to go with my Trackmaster Talking Edward. It’s a nice CSX ES44AH in Cab sound which I recorded the audio and make the Trackmaster train Cab Ride video on iMovie.

CLNA no longer owns that one. I had no idea, it was a former Massabe unit.

This was shot at Otranto Road. The train at Red Bank Road Goose Creek at the very beginning of the video.

Its a shame that CSX doesn't allow anyone to record their rides from the Cab. That's sad 😭😭😭

I can remember when this was just an abandoned remnant of the original Norfolk Southern - and from Star to Aberdeen , the rails had not seen a wheel in years- there was a branch just east of the Candor freight station that ran to Ellerbe. My uncle said that some of that branch paralleled old U.S.220 going south.

The rumble of a GE loco sound great in the cab, but one thing I cannot get over: I could barely stand the blasts of that loud, annoying, and severely discordant K5HL on a whole trip. I wish there was a K5LA up there. I wish the stupid and totally worthless FRA regulations never existed, because damn did they really destroy decent-sounding horns. But I'll quite my bitching and give credit where it's due... seriously great video though. I love the cab night shots.

I like 'dropped' signals. Add more delight to the shot.

I love the sequence @ 1:40 of the frog separating the rails, allowing the bridge to ''swing''. So many drawbridge videos leave that all important function out by not doing close ups or focusing too much on the tail end of the train or some bird that just landed nearby by. Double thumbs up!

Trains N' Stuff nope however the only exception being in 2016 when hurricane Matthew damaged the North Carolina corridor via Selma with immense flooding and the old ns tracks remained practically unscathed due to being on higher ground

pause it at 2:37, that would be the perfect thumbnail, plus that K5LA is really loud, i have wanted to see those EMD's, but they are not a company any more right
