KTM? Dynamic bikes. But maybe check out the reliability? Just a casual trawl through KZbin or Google will suffice.

Wonder why manufacturers don’t just go race shift from the outset on all bikes. It’s hardly an engineering challenge, and makes sense on the road.

Why? I don't get the obsession with reversing the shifting pattern
@BRMCaptChaos

@@andreassakkas7234 changing up whilst cornering is much easier to push down otherwise you unweight the peg. It’s also more natural.

@@ST-kq9py , i know, so why just dont buy the R1 ? Pretty sure even 100% stock is track worthy. And the engine is on another planet compared to this suzuki.

@@Mike.4639 I think all the new twins are such a let down and basically a watered down substitute for all the real bikes before them, I have a ‘22 60th Anniversary R1 and it’s such an epic bike.

While i agree, the motor characteristics as well as ease to ride make it worth it to some people. Me personally I’d get the rs660 or r7 bc they are already set up to be track worthy.

And every one of those bikes would be massively improved with a full or half-fairing. It's a nonsense and has come about because bike designers have lost their way in the last 20 years.

Glad I wasn't the only one massivly dissapointed with the streetfighter V2. I rode one on a demo day, and the low/mid range performance was awful. Vibey and shakey below 6k rpm, I hated it. Also, y'all really should have included the new MT09 in this one Edit: I just saw the segment at the end explaining the lack of MT09. I totally get it, hopefully you can get one soon

The weight of the KTM is 179 kg without fuel. As a suggestion, I would say that to make respectable comparisons, the first step is to test the motorcycles on a dyno to know their real power and weigh them on a scale with a full tank to avoid the mistake of confusing whether the manufacturer gives the dry weight or the wet weight.
