All they would need to do is run a couple large pipes from the Sea Of Cortez and they would have all the fresh saltwater they would need. It would come back beter than it was. Portland is great! Lived here for 35 years. Are there issues? F yeh there are but it is not as bad as the ten thousand hit piece videos make it out to be. It is fairly expensive but if you compare it to the other big west coast cities , like Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles it’s not too bad. We do need a LOT more housing units put up to fight homelessness and just the general high price of housing here. Like most big cities we have issues but the city is great the people are very friendly etc etc
