Oh man i love these. And I've got so much respect for a person who knows the history of their land. I'm same with my town, I'm 4th generation and tbh not much i don't know about our town, very important little town to, especially in the ww2 with our code breakers, and back in the 18th century was a hub for river trade as the ouse runs threw the town, so we have little places that are kept as "listed" because of its heritage. And yes riding a harley through there would contradict the word "silent" 😂. I can't wait to get back on the road in a couple months, she's only a 125 Lexmoto and at moment being put threw it's M.O.T could of got a bigger bike but would be foolish as I've not rode for a few years. My son got me it for Xmas bless him, he knows i need to ride again before i toddle off this world. Took a health check and seems I'm better than what i thought, but obviously going to take it easy for the first couple months until i feel confident enough to ride in town with lots of traffic, and need to get sufficient bike gear, which i did have but sold it because didn't think i would ride again. Which brings me neatly on to Tony's Cut, i love the original denim cuts, just the whole history of them being a cut down denim lol. And indeed they didn't cut corners on a fortification being just that. But then if you look into the history especially ww2 Malta was very strategic in coms with South Africa and the shipping lanes. But obviously those buildings you was looking at was very pre ww2. Those structures i believe would of been to do with the French seige, seige of Velletta. And yes i did Google that lol, im not pretending i know it's history lol.

As a hangaround for an MC in my town (won't publicly say who), I will say you are absolutely correct on everything you said on this video! I have been around these guys for years because they are good friends of mine. Very rarely do I get to touch their patches, because again, respect for anyone else's property. That only happens when we give each other big hugs or brotherly side hugs that are from the close friend handshakes, if you catch my drift. And over time as I gained their trust, respect, friendship, to love, loyalty, and being treated like family to them, and receiving a nickname for myself from them, I do get called, "brother". And I know that term can vary from different club members to supporters. Some are okay with it, others are not. Those who are, I respect it. Those who aren't, I still respect it. I remember watching your channel for years before I got welcomed into the motorcycle club community. After my first walk-in on an invite to a party and started hanging around times after, they showed me the ropes. And they taught me ALOT! And I still have alot to learn, especially if I decide to get my motorcycle and actually able to join them. Right now, I can't, and I don't want to get ahead of myself like that like other people I knew trying to join either them or other clubs around my area.

With my club you have to prospect in the chapter without family members if and where possible, it's part of our By-Laws to try and keep direct family such as brothers and fathers separate during prospecting period. If they cant be kept separate no family members are allowed to sponsor them or vote on their membership, that includes cousins too. We run the same rules as the club you prospected for in 1982 in the UK so we work members with family in the club a lot harder and for longer than non family then nobody can say that person had an easy ride or benefited from family being in the club. Great topic Brother Dibz

As long as he prospects and has no different treatment than the others shouldn’t matter
@DibberInTheWindКүн бұрын
Doesn't always go that way thou, seen it many times where people have said treat them tougher as they are family and then watch them breeze it. Personally i'll always say, if they have another chapter that's close enough, make them prospect via that chapter as no-one can ever point the finger in the future that way and the chances of breezing it are a lot less likely to happen.
@thepeakybikerКүн бұрын
@@DibberInTheWind yea if it’s the only chapter though shouldn’t be treat any worse than any other prospect But saw it myself people being treated differently to others just because they knew someone or was a family member
@robertmills649710 күн бұрын
In a multi chapter club the relative should absolutely prospect in anither chapter. In a single chaptet the relative that is a full.member CANNOT have a vote and CANNOT be a sponsor for a prospect. However they are as reponsible as any other full patch for educating the prospect on the rules of club life. Nobody should get an easy ride because their dad uncle or big brother is a member (or worse, an officer).

I can agree with you on some level, although my experience is with an international club. As long as the prospect isn't shown any favoritism because of his father's status, it's not a problem. Often times the prospect has a harder way to go to prove that he's tough enough to ride with the crew, and not because of his father's status.
@thewolfgrandmawanedyouabout10 күн бұрын
My club is one of the big 4 internationals and we never allow family to prospect into a chapter where they have other family members and especially if a family member is an officer. I don't know where you live but all the chapters of my club where I live operate the same way.

@DibberInTheWind11 күн бұрын
It's not China, it's Malta. Santa Lucija in Malta is town twinned with Jin Chang District of Suzhou municipality in China. Countries all over the world have twin towns agreements with China. Even the USA states and cities have twin status with those in China too, New York for instance is twinned with Beijing in China, it's also twinned with Cairo in Egypt and Budapest in Hungary.
@digitaldogs23310 күн бұрын
Yep that's true, my town is twined with a town in Germany called Bamberg since 1977. Its done to achieve a better relationship with said country because of ww2. I believe Germany also has twined with East and west towns or cities probably for the same reason. Unfortunately China is mostly ruled by the CCP, but alot of Chinese citizens want this abolished, most Chinese I've met love uk and wish they had better relations with us. But unfortunately governments don't often do what the people want. And the politics in China is very complex, i don't concider them as our enemy, but i do the CCP because they are all about mass control.

You're not wrong there Heather, it's mind blowing how they moved all those stones from where they first excavated and cut to that location on the island. You cant really grasp how big some of those stones are from this video, they also predate the pyramids in Egypt and also Stonehenge in England, it's been said that the temple ruins in Tarxien are the oldest known man made monuments in the world.

I have a question what's the difference between single patch two-piece patch and a three piece patch also does it mean something different if the MC is split between the clubs logo. Also if you're in a club are you allowed to wear your colours when you are doing cross-country or going through other cities and countries for example if you are a part of a London MC are you allowed to wear your colours if you want to do cross country up to Scotland or if you want to do cross country through Europe what is the protocol for that? Ps sorry if this is a lot I know this video is a bit old

For Dibs to answer those questions it would mean divulging how things are done internally within the MC's, which is something he will never do. Others might spill their guts about the inner workings but Dibz never will.

So who sanctions it?
@DibberInTheWind17 күн бұрын
The regional coalitions of clubs. Each geographical region has a coalition of all the clubs in that regional location, they decide what can and cant be done in that location and who can wear motorcycle club patches. Coalitions of clubs are the reason the scene is more stable and peaceful than it was in the past. Not saying it's a perfect system but it's gone a long way to towards the stability we have today between the clubs. Yes shit does still happen between some rival clubs but no-where near the extent it used to happen, it's also helped keep rogue clubs that just like to make trouble or problems for the other clubs out of the scene which is always a good thing.

@@DibberInTheWind Good day, thanks for the reply. I'm from South Africa and have been in the UK for 4 years now. I have been a member of the Moto Psycho club in South Africa since 2004. The MC culture is quite different in the UK compared to SA, no politics and no major rivalries. Would i be stepping on anyone's toes if i fly my South African Moto Psycho colours in the UK. My bottom rocker says South Africa, but obviously don't want to disrespect any MC in the UK. There are about 30 of us (mainly South Africans) that would like to start a Moto Psycho MC here in the UK, but want to do it correctly to avoid any trouble.The majority of us based in South eastern England.
@DibberInTheWind17 күн бұрын
I wouldn't go out wearing those patches if i were you, the clubs in the UK are not known for being nice when they see unsanctioned patches in their areas. To be perfectly honest, you stand little to no chance of getting those patches sanctioned by the MC's in the UK, you can approach the local MC's but chances are they will say NO which will put you and your patches on their radar.

Not sure if you've already covered this topic but would be interesting to hear your take on the subject. Peace man 😁
