My primary physician said there is no such thing as food noise. She also won’t engage with me or hear me on my efforts to lose weight and why I’m failing. She keeps telling me to use the same strategies that have failed me consistently for 35 years! Very frustrated! Considering changing primary physicians.

@@annejohnson-1577 after going through this for many years, my best advice is to trust what you know about yourself to be true and advocate for yourself strongly. I don’t think a change in practitioners would be a bad idea. PS food noise is beyond real and it is awful. I wish you all the best 💖

It’s only been over 24 hours since my first dose and I had to leave work early. The side effects really kicking my ass. I didn’t think I’d get it. Coworker had no side effects. I was vomiting violently. Major nausea, dizziness, stomach pain/burning, extreme fatigue. Feeling of diarrhea. Vomiting helped a little. Idk if I can continue this holy sh*+ 😰 this is worse than when I had Covid and pregnancy morning sickness. It’s horribleee 😫

@@JScottBeauty Thank you! The dizziness lasted about 5 days. The nausea was everyday. I took it on a Wednesday night, bad idea. This week is the 2nd week and I moved it to Friday (today) so I can suffer on my days off. 😅 I am hoping the side effects go away. Hoping my body will get used to it. Did the stomach last time and will switch up to my thighs this week. I did lose 5 lbs over night and still the same today, 10 days later.

2 weeks in on Wegovy 5:03 and nothing has happened. Appetite has not decreased and no weight loss. I walk every day and eat really appropriate portions. I have also cut out evening snacks etc. is this normal?

@@lauraminor3022 everybody’s experience is different. I would suggest if you see no changes after 2 more weeks to call your dr and discuss options. I will say, my sister did not have the results I did and she was on Wegovy longer than I have been and I believe her dr is switching her to a different glp-1 that has higher dosages. That’s one of the reasons I think it’s so important to have strong communications with your Dr and don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself.

great video. i use cetaphil body cream and prescription tretinoin on my face. im wondering if maybe i could do better then the cetaphil cream now rhat im 55. and mentioned a few body creams. have u ever used cetaphil in the tub with the lime green top? how do they compare? i have dry saggy skin for sure

@@jillpotts7472 tbh I’ve never used any of the cetaphil moisturizers because when I tried one of their cleansers I didn’t like it at all so I had no interest in the rest of the brand. My current fave body combo is the Necessaire Body Retinol and Prequel’s Urea Advanced Relief. Urea is incredibly underrated in the beauty community for its benefits, but it will forever be in my routine.

I just did my first shot today. It gave me a headache, slight nausea, and I immediately needed a nap 😂 I’m 30, 5’8, and 230lbs. Hoping to lose about 70lbs. I got Liquid IV, Vitamin B-12, and protein.

I’m hoping I get to start mine in a few weeks or so. I haven’t talked to a specialist yet. I just did my blood work but my goal is to lose at least 70 pounds I’m 252 pounds and I’m 5’3 😔 I am going to stock up on the liquid IV some ginger chews

@@Blkbutterflyy1 Surprisingly enough, ice water helps a lot too with the nausea. And when I do my protein drink, I either mix it with some cold brew coffee over ice or I blend it up with some frozen fruit and a banana.

The probes on mine literally started sparking and a snap, crackle, pop noise could be heard coming from my device. It hurt! Customer service said it was a build up of gel on the probes, but I was using the normal amount and I cleaned it after each section on my face. Now I'm terrified to use it. So disappointed. 😭

Hi! I have that exact same issue with my eye watering in the corner, it’s so super annoying isn’t it?! It seems to happen with my left eye. So I take allergy medicine and that seems to help. ❤ I picked up the Charlotte Tillberry mascara but I have not tried it yet, I did try it in a travel size and I liked it so I picked up the big size. I have so many mascaras open I’m just waiting a little bit, so we will see how it goes. There’s a really good mascara it’s on the Ulta website, no fancy packaging but it really gives my lashes length and volume! It’s called dream warrior by flower beauty. It’s on sale right now on the website for only 8 dollars and change. I have it on today and I love it.😊

I am going to start and i am worried about my skin getting loose and saggy, you have always worked out but i have not so i will start that too but still concerned about neck sagging and arms 😢 any advice?

@@AprilMay-s8e there are a lot of factors regarding the resiliency of your skin, as I’m sure you’re aware. For me the area that didn’t bounce back well was the abdomen and I am looking into in-office procedures to tighten the skin. That being said, the best things you can do is exercise to put on muscle and take the weight loss slow and steady. If you’re rapidly losing a lot of weight, think over 3-4 lbs a week consecutively for an extended period of time, your skin isn’t going to be able to keep up. So keep an eye on how much you’re losing from week to week and if it’s a lot consistently, maybe consider not jumping to the next higher dosage every 4 weeks. Your weight loss is extremely personal so tailor your dosage to your needs. I will say that once my weight stabilized my neck skin slowly rebounded after many months, so don’t give up hope because changes in your physical appearance can continue to improve even when you’re no longer losing weight. Good luck and keep me posted 💖

I have a using the make up by Mario loose powder also but I just tried the tower 28 pressed powder using a brush and I love that too! I got the pink shade in that and it’s very pretty and brightening. And I love the setting spray!

The tower 28 pressed powder definitely blurs out the skin I would say it’s close to the Mario, a little bit less coverage.

@@JScottBeauty have you tried the Huda blur foundation? It’s beautiful along with the primer. As long as you prep your skin good with moisturizer and then do the primer I find that it wears all day long at least 10 hours it’s still looks good!

I got my prescription for Wegovy today but I haven’t had my first dose yet. I just found your channel and enjoyed this video. I stayed right to the end so I know how much you have lost. It’s so encouraging. I ch ecked out your earlier videos to see what you looked like before. You looked beautiful then too but I certainly understand how you felt back then. I’m there now. I just don’t loose. I have tried over and over. I’m 71 so every “diet” is not an exaggeration. I look forward to being able to get on the floor with my grandchildren again. And be able to walk without pain. Thank You, I’m ready to feel well again.

@@ileanagarcia-soto5449 everyone is different and it can take time for your body to react. Additionally, the Wegovy starts at a very low dosage and you may not see changes until you’re at a higher dose. I would definitely keep your health care provider updated monthly so that they are aware and can make adjustments as needed. Good luck girl, it’s an up and down road 💖
