How many black slave owners fought for the South during the civil war. Learn your history. Why isn't this taught in American schools. I should be taught, and maybe racism wouldn't be so prevalent.

Slavery is still rife in Africa today, more now than then.

I'm pretty positive that Trump and Malcolm X would've been allies/friends.Which is hilarious to me considering that some people call Trump a racist since he became a republican.

The fact is that the people in power are the ones who has kept the true history of the slave trade a secret so they can do the same thing alex Hailey and that is to control the uninformed. if it wasn't for people like Thomas sowell the truth about slavery would never be told. That is why the left hate him and loves Alex Haley. Hate the truth and Embrace the lies. true history isn't taught in this country. But I am glad you are and others like you are searching and excepting your Real history. Stay informed so no one can make you believe a lie ever again.

Ok I’m going to give my opinion. This generation however is my limit. I didn’t watch Kobe Bryant play enough to make an opinion nor Labraun James. These 2 as far as I know could be the best but as far as my opinion goes is just before their time. Here’s a great list: Julius Irving, Irving”Magic” Johnson, Kareem,Akeem,James Worthy,The Great Mike J,Larry Bird, wilt Chamberlain. These are the greatest in my opinion maybe Carl Malone in there. Kareem has a lot going for him. Lots of mvps, championships and championship mvps, he was fascinating but he was limited to the inside. Dr J was the original badass. Definitely you can see where Mr J got his swagger from here. But Dr J wasn’t a great jump shooter. He could go to the rim as good as anyone. Magic was a great all around ball player. Both sides of the ball. But let’s face it he surrounded by arguably the best team ever put together. Worthy and Kareem take some away from him standing out. That’s how it is when you have to share the court. James worthy is my favorite. He was perfect at his position. He played an important role in those championship games against the Celtics. Without him Celtics would have shut them out not losing once to them in the big game. But he was brides maid to magic and Kareem. Akeem one of the greatest centers very powerful. But like Kareem limited to the middle. Milk J changed the game. He pushed the limit past Dr J. He was good everywhere on the court. He came into the league in 1985 I think. But how long did it take him to dominate? He could score 60 and lose the game. You can’t do it by yourself unless you know how to get the best out of your team. That takes us to Larry Bird. His first year was unreal. Rookie of the year, next year he’s beating Dr J in the championship. 84,85,86 mvp. Championships against The Lakers and pistons. He dominated quarters without taking a shot. And the best clutch shot in nba history period. Could shoot from anywhere on the court. Go to the rim, steal, pass anyway he wanted, fake you out,and was 2 plays ahead. A savant basketball player. Tell you what he going to do and do it. Yes he is the best. Hands down. If I’m putting together the greatest team he’s no 1 Mike J 2 worthy 3 Magic 4 Kareem 5 Akeem backup center.

No matter what our differences are we have always come together to defend our country. That's what patriots do. I'm too old to go to fight on the front line but I and my family has always honored our service members and veterans.

Another point that he didn't mention here is that the majority of the African slaves were not taken to the British colonies (or to America after the revolutionary war). The most common destination for slaves was actually Brazil. Central America, the rest of South America, and the Caribbean accounted for more than two thirds of the trade.

Truth is subjective take history most people take ours as fact, but history on The same subject is totally different. In this case its said history is the lies we all agree on, and so is the truth I don't agree with what this guy is saying, he sounds like a rights hustler. That comparison with tp shows he is a hater.

I don't like the idea of separating people based on race regardless of the reason. And how do you do that anyway? Appearance? Maybe a DNA test? That doesn't sound good. And what about black slave owners? And white abolitionists? It's too complicated.

When the black race decides they will no longer be referred to as African-American, and demand to be called Americans peace will not exist. I know what white privilege is. I just told you what it is. Can you figure it out?

Your own people didn't want your ancestors. Do you think you or anyone can drop African from African American? Hugh Gwyn, a wealthy Virginia landowner, is considered the first recognized slaveholder in the United States. Heres a little known fact the first slave owner in America was a blackman.
