That's how and what the government wants teachers to teach to school children. They're dumbing down America one student at a time. It's been happening for decades and you're right... It's beyond sickening. We can only hope that more people wake up and educate themselves so we can teah our children properly. Homeschooling is the best way to go, as long as the parents are smart enough to realize the bullshit going on and take control of their childrens education. Something has got to change and fast!

I think the point is we ALL DID THAT TO OUR OWN KIND....as in slavery is a human condition not based on one ethnic group....we all carry that same guilt for lack of another word...all of us....our inner ugly human selves.

I believe that black people in the USA have two problems with the concept of slavery. First, like most Americans, they only know about their country, and are unaware of most of world history, looking too inward. And second, believing that all Africans are "brothers" or "our people" is crazy. You will not see any other race or civilization say the same. When the pirates of North Africa kidnapped and turned 1 million Europeans into slaves, and castrated them, in Europe we don't say, they came for our people. Each country or each culture is different, and we are not a whole because we have the same skin color. The same in Asia.

NOOOOO! Please, people.... mostly if you are mexican, stop spreading this LIE. Please do your research before spreding wrong stories. True Story of Amor Eterno: He wrote it for Rocio Durcal (singer and JuanGa formerly friend) daughter. Rocios daughter drown in an Acapulco beach, thats why you listen him singing "you are the sadest memory of Acapulco" and "I know i could have done more for you" because i believe Rocio was present when she drown. This song was first sang by Rocio, but then sang by JuanGa because he wrote it so he owns the song too. So.... this is an even sadest song... of course is dedicated to Mothers love, but not to Juan Gabriel moms, his mom abandoned him.

I’m sorry for what you’re going through with your pops. This is a very special song for Mexicans and all Latinos. It has essentially become the anthem for every funeral. Thank you for taking the time to review a song that helps us all grieve in our own way.

We have all heard the old saying, "sold up river". This saying refers to African tribes selling their captured enemies into slavery to the European.

WHEN BROTHER MALCOLM SAID THAT....HE DIDN'T MEAN THAT VOTING FOR A REPUBLICAN WOULD MAKE YOU LESS THAN A TRAITOR....HE SAID THAT BECAUSE AT THAT TIME THE DEMOCRATS WERE IN THE WHITE HOUSE.....HE ALSO SAID THAT HE WAS NOT A DEMOCRAT NOR A REPUBLICAN...... YOU DIDN'T HEAR THAT PART......HE SAID THAT HE WAS ONE OF THE 22 MILLION BLACK PEOPLE WHO ARE THE VICTIMS OF AMERICANISM (RACISM)........ I GUARANTEE YOU THAT BROTHER MALCOLM WOULD NOT VOTE FOR A CONVICTED UNETHICAL THIEVING RACIST......WHO WANTED THE CENTRAL PARK 5 TO BE HANGED.....

This song gets to me so much because he loved his mother with all his heart even though his mother could not be a mother to him. She threw him out of the house after his brother almost beat him to death. So when I hear him sing this song, it's so emotional to me because no matter what his mother did to him, he loved her unconditional

Slavery has no positive out come, other then bringing this subject to light. That is what it looks like.Nobody wants to learn that what theythought was truth ,is really hard to take. The fact that you are learnning this is the only posative out come of slavery .

If a student selected by minority status gets into MIT for an engineering degree, he'll be up against the brightest minds and be expected to know a lot already. That person will either drop out or change to a much easier course of study like teacching. If that student went to a much cheaper State college, the engineering basics would be taught, and the person would get that engineering degree.

I was in school in the fifties and through the sixties. I never met a student who couldn't read. This was before kindergarten was mandatory, and later, preschool was added. My first films of couples having sex were in a psychology of sex course I took as a junior in college.
