This video is fuckin old but I'm a noob and I have been experimenting with the editor. I love watching these battles I set up especially with mods. However I don't understand half the shit on the editor, only I place enemy units in cities with move or seek and destroy or guard orders and watch the thing play out. I usually use infantry because whenever I would place a vehicle full of infantrymen the truck would just sit there, same thing for the helicopters(Could be a mod issue),but weirdly enough the jet fighters take off and cause havoc among the enemy. My favorite battle to set up is ambushes so this video helped me a lot. Thank you.

A very good video, my first sorties were also like that. Like 1-3 kills and then I died and didn't know how to act properly. Well, I play with a friend on own missions. I can give you some advice, first of all, don't spam your AMRAMS it's kinda a waste to spend to missiles or three (I know you didn't shoot 3 missiles at one enemy but still). I'd rather close the gap and wait for Rtr (Range t = turn r = run) that's the 2nd line from the bottom when you lock an enemy up. That "should" be a guaranteed hit. Also, you should learn to work with the RWR a little bit more, it can save the life if you understand it properly. Mostly I lock the enemy up, check my RWR to see what's happening in the air and fire. Around the end of the video you were too deep in their AO, even SAMS (I think?) locked you up and fired at you. To counter this you've to drop a cloud of chaffs and pull high g manoeuvres because the rocket will lose energy while tracking you and drop the chaffs before you manoeuvre. Drop a cloud of chaff -> manoeuvre -> cloud chaff -> manoeuvre and fly low or search for cover like valleys, hills etc. I hope I could help you, sorry for my grammar or spelling mistakes I'm not a native speaker.

You don't need to capitulate Philippines. Land a few troops in one port, lets say Aparri, hold that port till USA capitulate and and all of Philippines is yours.

What's the purpose of syncing the trigger to the IEDs? Isn't everything that's necessary already in the trigger's On Activation field?
