This is basically a outside receiver chasing down a slot receiver, as long as both stay in tight spaces where change of direction and speed is favored, the slot is in good shape, anytime it is a straight line race the slot is dead

They're way more agile and are faster accelerating. But the greyhound would completely destroy the whippet in a race, no doubt about it.

They are fabulous to watch and have such a fantastic sense of fun and joy that you can almost feel the adrenaline running through them. I hope to get one when I retire. I hear they are also meant to be very affectionate as well. I think they have a lot going for them.

My Pharaoh hound was always the fastest at the dog park until he met a Greyhound. It took him 2 straight line speed losses to realize that all he needed to do was turn at speed and he would remain the champion. i always love watching sighthounds run and play at 40mph. They just look so happy doing it.

Brilliant dog's, I owned them for years mad as hatter's when they are pups, used to love walking through wheat fields when the wheat was about a foot tall, they used to twist and turn intil they tired, it all came good for them when they hit the tracks in later life.
