I like the Beatles, and I worked with Phil Cool in Cabaret scene of 80s. I remember he was always supporive of other people on the bill,not like some others I could mention..

Great performers can pull back to still perform subtly like this. Phil Cool was known for his - magnificent - live OTT physical impressions. But this was all nuance. The song at the end was very clever and deserved a development into a full McCartney style over-the-top production of a back-of-the-fag packet ditty just to hammer home the point.
