Avid follower and love your content. Keep up the good work. After the flooding, do you still love living in your condo? I assume it effected your complex because it is right next to the Ping River. Do you think you will move to another condo that is less likely to be effected by flooding?

Hi, the condo was surrounded by water but not into the property thanks to the sandbags and wall of dirt build along the river edge.. It was also the worst flood in 11 years.. the past years, I heard it was fine. So I have no plans to move.. this place is perfect for my needs 👍

All my live streams are vertical live. It's the default setting on mobile, and youtube adds it to shorts to get more audience exposure. All my pre-recorded videos are in landscape mode. Live streaming is done on my mobile phone. My camera (dji Action cam) is used for landscape pre-recorded videos. Cheers

Just on the 800,000baht that sits in a Thai bank account. You have no access to it unless you leave the country?

It's just a normal savings account but you can't let the balance drop below the 800k otherwise I use the account daily.

Good job and explanation - I live alone in BKK and found your cost estimations spot on - well done SIR. I think you and I live similarly - I also use a slow cooker. Other prices - chicken quarters (drumstick & thigh) about THB 68 per kg (or USD 0.93 per pound), pork butt THB 117 per kg (USD 1.61 per pound) compared to USD 2.00 & 3.00 per pound respectively in parts of US.

So you actually use WISE to transfer the 800,000 Baht from your local Bank to the That Bank? I have used it for smaller amounts, and that usually went fine (US to Germany), just last time it took 6 days. I also use the WISE debit card for traveling, this year I was in Indonesia, without any problems.
@DiscoveringThailand
@DiscoveringThailand 10 күн бұрын
I used wise to transfer the money over a year or so as I built up my savings here. The most I transferred was about A$10000 at once. Never had a problem. Once the cash is in wise, it is instant into bangkok bank.

There's a wild troop of monkeys that live near the carpark of that cave. A couple of male monkeys that are a bit aggressive if you get too close to them.

Many people follow trends regardless of their age, even going alone. But if you faint or go into shock, no one will be there to help. Don’t do it, Uncle

We were going to go to Chiang Mai last month, and we were watching the news and your channel and watch you through the floods. So we went to Hua hin and caught up with woody and Jonny. It was wet there too but not like CM So hopefully next year we we’ll get there. June 2025.

It's a no brainer. They don't want long stay foreigners going chip cheap chip like birds. They only want high spending 2 week tourists. They don't want long stay foreigners posting videos boasting how they are living on 100 baht a day.

Good video! One my favourite things to to do in this beautiful country is doing what you have done in this video. Jump on my bike head off in a random direction and ride and explore. Sometimes I ride for 20 minutes, sometimes I ride for 3 hours or more. I record most of my videos out in nice quiet locations like you have done in this video. I will head up to Chaingmai, but it will be after the peak season. I'm pretty much staying put until the peak season is over.
