I love all the minis ! Those are very colorful debris piles !. The beach I saw in North Carolina looked like they had been run through a tea strainer, zip ! Nada !.About as much as Missouri, where I am, lol !

The giant cowries are the size of the inside of your hand. Much larger.

The sand dollars that are just washing up will have a furry-type covering that is brown or greenish. One exposed to sunlight the covering on them dries and falls away.

You need to go to a dive shop & get a few net bags to do your shelling. You can dip them right in the water & rinse off the shells you find. Much better than your pocket.

Finding Austrailian Trumpet shells bigger than roughly 2 feet is incredably difficult, I reccently got a 21" one myself but its already cut to be used as a horn which has me really excited to try it out soon! I was giddy seeing your larger shells!
