I want to use this engine for a e racer or long ez I'm trying to keep the weight around 350lbs I won't use the power steering pump or AC only the alternator and water pump. My question is this is the perfect aircraft engine because the torque is 90 percent of max through the rpm range. I'm using a psru propeller speed reduction unit. It's basically a pulley attachment to the flywheel then another pulley mount about 12 inches about the flywheel were the prop is attached. My question is I don't want the cam replacement to move the torque range from where it is. Also which intake is the best and which is the lightest of other usable upper intakes? And where else can I save weight elsewhere? My cooling system is already taken care of ..I'd like to make a set of headers which would be the exact same as both sides and only need to run one header on each side and maybe 12inches past where 3 go into one .
