I tried no poo method. Scalp acne and hair loss plus super oily hair. No way gross

I only washed my face with water and nothing else my entire life and my skin was flawless! But in early April I randomly used a moisturizer which caused redness and inflammation and badly messed up my face. I used hydrocortisone but it still didn’t fully heal so what I did was not washing my face at all not even with water! I did this for a while and it turned my skin into a greasy oily mess 😢 I also damaged my skin barrier with harsh over exfoliating and harsh cleaners which makes it worse. Is there any hope or is my skin now permanently damaged and greasy ?

Why not just use a bit of conditioner, or oils in your hair?

Remember no shampoo isn't for everyone plus any issues you're having with your hair might be caused by hot water so is recommended to use warm or cold water

Organic Coconut oil is the best coditioner and hair mask as well as skin moiturizer.

Sorry to break it to you, you probably got used to the smell of dirty hair. It is a very pungent smell. Very nasty. You don't have to use shampoo there are other options such as certain types of clay. Organic soap bars, baking soda. A organic apple cider vinegar, water mix. Even with the no-poo method most people will have to wash their hair with a cleansing (use organic) shampoo or soap to deep clean every now and then.

I personally don't think it is worth it for the hair. My hair always felt sticky and dry at the same time. I really gave it a try but NOPE. Being minimalistic with skincare was a good choice for me but with hair i actually like the opossite 😂😂

Loved your video as its natural and what you have said makes sense! Companies manufacturing shampoos are making billions of dollars even when we all can actually do without it! Its all about money money money and the greed of humans!

Why not use shampoo not very often and use very little. That or make wet with diluted vinegar and then rinse.

Just came here to say this is true. Our face is much like a 🐱 self cleaning. You try to clean it w soap and it destroys the natural protective biome.

No poo works for some people and doesn't work for others. What i hate is no poo people looking down condescendingly on others who still uee shampoo...like congrats? Some people do place their self worth on the dumbest things.

I do not wash my hair (no water or shampoo). In 3 years I went from a pixi cut to hair i now can sit on. I die my hair about 1 time every 2 months. Thats all the “wash” it gets.

the same for me. But as for my case is about Christianity. No one really pushed me into Christianity and I have no religion and religious denominations. And the moment I started praying and reading the bible, it has really changed my life, and I learned to love more and forgive. The thing that surprises me is that other Christians are doing the exact opposite of what the word of God actually says, they go to debates, sometimes say insulting words to other people. And that really affects me and made me sad. And the other side is that non Christian people discriminate Christians so much. or like some Japanese people I heard that they're somewhat afraid of Christianity, and treat it as a cult. Again it made me very sad. But whenever I read the bible and what jesus said. It's totally the contrary, and that I should love everyone just as I love myself. ❤ In the end I just close my attention to everything and the negatives, and just learn to love and be understanding more and forgiving more. Going into the righteous path of life.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I did no poo about 10 years ago, but my hair and skin are oily, and it never really worked for me. My hairbrush didn't stop getting that oily residue that you mentioned, and I had been no poo for at least a year. My hair did become thicker and more voluminous, but I couldn't handle the oil everywhere and eventually went back to shampooing. Maybe I will do a hard reset with no poo again so that I can successfully shampoo my hair twice a week, now I'm always trying but I'm on day 3 post-wash and my hair is oily at the roots. Sometimes I get embarrassed and I'll wash it 2 nights after the last wash, just before it gets very oily.

I am starting the no poo method again this weekend,( I tried a couple years ago and my impatience was the cause of me failing), I've been recently researching historical hair care and was floored as to how much hair everyone had back then, the women's hair was floor length! Thank you for sharing your experience !

@@ryane6886 I am doing it for 6 months and its amazing. My hair looks and feels much better. It doesnt smell good though. It smells alright but I dont mind that because the texture and look is amazing. It smells worse once you clean it. Once it dries it doesnt smell. And the only way to smell it to be close to my hair. Nobody has smelled it even if you stand next to me. You need to put your nose like a few centimeters or run your fingers through my hair to smell it.I clean it manually with a comb or brush. The oiliness is amazing because its not that oily for it to looks bad its also not dry. Its perfectly oily so it looks healthy and strong and you can style it however you like. You have volume and the hair feels strong. I would certainly recommend.

@@whogivesafack-ch3lj Do you work out a lot? OR sweat a lot? How long is your hair? Does your barber say your hair is gross? I usually get a haircut every few weeks. I suspect I should probably wash it before that.
@whogivesafack-ch3lj3 ай бұрын
@@ryane6886 I haven't cut my hair I am growing it out and it probably like 20cm long. I workout but I don't sweat a lot cause I lift weights in a cool basement and I don't do any cardio. Where I live it's also pretty cold so basically I don't sweat. If you get a haircut you shampoo so that your barber doesn't complain. I mean the smell isn't bad but it's also not good and your hair is oilier than shampoo washed hair. What I use is when my hair gets really dirty from some kind of activity is a green clay mask. It works well to make the hair cleaner but not strip away everything like shampoo does. As I said if someone isn't going through your hair you shouldn't worry about smell or look. It looks better and the smell can only be noticed if you put your nose close to the hair. I did nopoo for months before I told anyone and nobody has noticed. I am also doing no soap mechanical washing for my body and it also works really well

I wash my hair every two to three weeks. I use shampoo on on the scalp, then rinse it off. I used to put and leave in blue magic, but stopped that last month. The hair has gotten less frizzy , grown extremely fast and has a lot of volume. I have always had "doll hair" and do not dye the hair, wearing a natural gray.

Keep in mind, no shampoo is not a solution for genetically oily hair. I tried this s*** and ended up with the worst hair loss of my life due to the pores getting clogged by debris and excess sebum. It got restored only when I started washing it normally every other day or 2 like I did before. Sebum, especially excessive, has a tendency to get hardened as well and can only be dissolved and washed away with suds. Since water and oil (sebum) obviously don't mix.
