Solid acquisition. I think Austin Hayes never really got a good shot with the Orioles. Highly touted prospect. Excited to see him play on a regular basis. You can then move Marsh to center, as he is ice, cold, and bat him at the bottom of the order.

Not a game changer. More of a "Much Ado About nothing" kind of trade. I think this is just a precursor to what's coming.

The SirAnthony and Pache trade to the Orioles for Austin Hays was a great deal! A great hitter against lefties. Natural platoon with March so you can leave a great defensive center fielder, Rojas in your lineup! And with the Phillies offense lineup, you can afford one weak hit, great defense player in your lineup!

Love to listen to hosts who are so knowledgeable and experienced! I was born a fan (76 years ago) now living in Florida and watching makes me feel like I’m home. Yes Ruben I watched your dad play. Started watching with my dad at age 6 sneaking into Connie Mack. He would have loved this team and this show. Take care

Just honestly had a thought about the pen while listening and don't think it's really been mentioned. Could be total coincidence, but I swear this pen always struggles coming off long stretches without games. Last year and this years pens are practically the same, but I remember how terrible they started in Texas and NY last year. And then you think this year, they were terrible out the gate and struggled after this break. Wonder if it's a coincidence or not but seems like they as a whole maybe struggle with coming off these long stretches of rest

That’s why I’m lowkey stressed about the buy when we win the division. We make fun of Braves fans for whining but there may be something to it. I wonder how the Phillies will handle it. I don’t think they can just do work outs. There needs to be something like a split squad w/ AAA players scrimmages to get guys their work in a high-ish intensity situations

So much for that Mercado experiment. 😬 Just a letdown series after that Dodgers sweep. Dudes just trying to get to the break. Just a weird series...Ranger leaking oil and then no Wheeler yesterday. Recipe for disaster. Still an amazing first half and JT is back soon! And hopefully Bryson figures it out after the break.

With how well they did in the first half you absolutley can blow it off. Good teams are due for a few ass whoopings per season and they got theres. They took the all star break a day early. Dont make it a bigger deal then it is.
