I love how Ruben added nothing we don't already know. Yes, every team is looking for starting pitching depth.

lol it had to be said though

They don't call him "Captain Obvious" for nothing.

I would sign Trevor Bauer for depth

Who was the only player to be benched during the most crucial series of the year? That must mean something.
@rickbady2281Ай бұрын
Just watched video of the1960 world series victories. Most of the batters had short quick swings, not trying to hit a homerun, just put the ball in play. It works.
@seanguzy9601Ай бұрын
Just watch Pete Rose. See back in the day the people who hit the HRs were the 3rd, 4th and 5th hole.
@an0therdimensi0n99Ай бұрын
fundamentally, correct. however we have drastically plummeting attention spans. small ball will not put asses in the seats like it did in the '60s. the dumbed down masses want (and need) nonstop, fast dopamine hits. nothing accomplishes that in baseball like the HR.
@havokan45Ай бұрын
tell the All Star break the Phillies was the team to beat then for what ever reason it fell off . the team was banged up in the second half and near the end of the season and was like the team stopped trying to put the ball in play and was trying to hit the long ball they need a pure hitter .

Why the heck is Rojas swinging like Bryce Harper.

If Bohm didn't get hurt, he'd have it 50 doubles knocked in 100 rbi and hit over .290. Why would you trade him
@PhillyThe13thАй бұрын
Because his attitude sucks and he acts like a child.
@johnhaversack1634Ай бұрын
2nd half of season..look at his numbers when it counted.
@gregorytwery104Ай бұрын
Bohm’s a player! Future big star as well, as far as attitude is concerned, it could never be as bad as Reggie Jackson, and look how he turned out.
@BillsGo1Ай бұрын
Coachem up and put a ring on his finger

Remind me. Who was the only player on the team to be benched during the most crucial series of the year? I’d day that has meaning.
@danielrogers3121Ай бұрын
I don't see how Stott has value. He can't hit, his defense is slightly above average if you look at outs above average. He's a decent base runner but how valuable is that?

A Trade or Two means GET OVER THE JUAN SOTO TALK
@an0therdimensi0n99Ай бұрын
im sick of see philly fans sniffing soto's farts too
@MisakiLeasimАй бұрын
Dude, Ruben needs to let others talk too. It seems he tries hard to be scouted to be a GM again. Other than that, great podcast.

Trade Bohm, good bye WS. You need to work with the kid. Coachem.
@BirthToBurial10Ай бұрын
Do not get rid of Alec bohm he's way too good.. he's a better hitter than bregman with less power ..but I say go get O'Neill from the Boston Red Sox as one of our outfielders ..O'Neill is a great player and would fit this team
@RangerofNEАй бұрын
Every team looks for a 5th starter every year
@adamkachinosky6187Ай бұрын
Alex Bohm was an all star for half a season. and almost non existed in the second half
@rupertpupkin2660Ай бұрын
Phillies go get Kyle Tucker! He would hit 40 plus HRs at CBP!
@StephenTrunkwalterАй бұрын
If Bohm hasn't shown maturity by now, he probably isn't going to anytime soon. Adios
@donallington7215Ай бұрын
Should retire their numbers officially on 6-11-26!

Hired a new gm, still means nothing, on the field. An assistant gm, one who will tell star players truth when each subpar, what Phillies need, Thomson just too soft spoken. New gm will be like Mr Middleton, both irrelevant with the level of play on the field.
