I just noticed that your pocket doors have the doorknob sides both pointing to the left. I think it would look even more beautiful if you flipped one of the doors around so that the doorknob sides both meet in the middle! your house looks lovely!

You could try a lovely little Sussex town called Lewes for antiques (makes a nice day out too) - there are lots of antique shops there. Also keep an eye on the Ardingly Showground - they have regular antiques fairs = not tooooo far from London. xx

I'm glad they caught that issue with the fireplace now instead of later when everything was done.

I mainly read horror and mystery but my sister is a big fan of contemporary and romance and has read The Paper Palace and loved it as well, and has been trying to convince me to try it out lol I asked her what she's read that's similar and she also liked and she mentioned Tom Lake by Ann Pratchett and Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult. No idea if you've tried either of them but if not, maybe they'll match the vibes? I've been trying to find books like The Craft, I'm in such a mood for witchy girl power stuff right now lol I just read The Undead Girl Gang by Lily Anderson and Cackle by Rachel Harrison, which both hit the vibes, so if anyone has any recs for something like that, I'm open! Does anyone know if Tanya is on Goodreads to follow?

Corfe castle is what kirrin castle from the famous 5 is based on. There used to be a lovely old fashioned bookshop there called Ginger Pop, but it closed down sadly. I think there was also an Enid Blyton tour but it stopped as she is considered very controversial now.
