If you want LED in the high beams, get Philips Ultinon Access. I got them for my 2011 Aero and they're AMAZING for the price and being so minimal. Such a huge value in my opinion. Big upgrade for small money.

And here I am, 3 years and a totalt of 385k km later on this turbo, and its still going strong. I even run more power than what I did back in 2021. The TD04's feel great at 1.4 bar of boost.

The TGV valves could be stuck. You can removed the butterfly valve off them its a fuel saving thing when cold. Had it on my subaru it would accelerate and power would drop like a swinging motion.

I know this a long time after you posted this video, but it might be helpful for others - I was getting the 'Service engine soon' on my 2012 Insignia CDTi. Turns out one of the glow plugs was on the way out. Sadly for me, my engine has the Beru pressure sensor glow plugs, and they are pricey!!!

I think people are going crazy for no reason. it`s simple. if you sutututu on throttle it`s bad for the turbo, if you sutututu when your foot comes off the throttle, congratulations! you`re one of the cool kids! everyone needs to relax! when there`s no throttle applied, there is no pressure on the exhaust side to oppose the pressure coming back to the turbine. what you hear is basically chopped air which obviously let`s all your mates know what`s up at your local mackey Ds drive through! but use an air filter! don`t suck birds and old grandmas through your turbos!

Hey, gonna import a 9000 94 2.3t next week from sweden to Norway. Was thinking of switching all dampers to bilstein and 35/35 springs from maptune. Poly for the gearbox, engine and more to stiffen the body. Looked at tune for the car aswell and want to use the stage 6 on maptune if i can dig up all the parts. How has it been for you tuuning the 9000? Great vid
@TurboNerd13027 ай бұрын
Hi. I would not recommend running to low springs on the 9000. 35mm is the max amount I would lower it as it becomes really uncomfortable over bumps with anything lower than that. Bilsteins are good, but If you can afford it, I would go for Koni instead. They feel way nicer on the 9000. My summer daily green 9000 CSE runs about 280bhp as this is what the stock injectors max out on. I also running a TD04HL-19T. A bit overkill for "only" 280bhp. But I'm looking at getting a GTX2867 Gen2 and fitting the 630cc injectors from the car in this video. Running a bigger turbo would allow me to run lower boost but still make the same amount of power as the bigger turbo moves more air. So no need of replacing the 2.5bar MAP sensor for a 3 bar.. I'm not looking for crazy power, but a more modern ball bearing turbo should run way nicer :)

Mitsubishi EVO 8 Intercooler. Fit pretty good, but needs slight modification to the car and pipes to make it fit.
@VítMaterka8 ай бұрын
is it safe?
@sage18477 ай бұрын
It’s safe but because he blocked off the pressure relief valve the air pressure get forced back through the turbo charger when the intake closes off.. causing the fluttering sound because the airflow is becoming bottlenecked. This leads to blown bearings and generally excessive amounts of wear and tear. In short unless you want to replace a turbo charger and lose performance don’t do it
@DriftNick7 ай бұрын
@@sage1847 It doesn't hurt the turbo and does not cause any loss of performance, it wouldn't be common place in motorsport not to run any valve in that was the case.
@DarkTranqz8 ай бұрын
Yes, do this if you want your turbo to die much sooner than it should.
@DriftNick7 ай бұрын
Much sooner = if it does any damage it's so minimal you wouldn't notice.
