Wooden floors best thing ever(not actually’real’wood) I’ve had them years and if you suffer with asthma and allergies etc then they’re the best.Much easier to keep clean too and don’t believe anyone that says they scratch,I’ve got 3 very boisterous grandsons and my floors still looks like new after 10 years.

i got wood flooring and the only thing is yes its cold in winter if you walk around bear foot it leaves your feet marks but other than that looks very nice

I’ve never looked back with hard floor, it’s great when you have children, I have had it all my married life, all you need is a big rug in front of your fire 🔥 and don’t go with real wood not only is it expensive but if you spill things onto it that isn’t good! 😫 Go with the other! good luck🙂 x

The wooden flooring will still be warm if you add rugs and throws and like you say you are moving away from the grey aesthetic anyway 😊 I’ve no doubt it will looking amazing when you’re done ❤

I just don't think they're worth the costs. A generic lodge 500.. a lodge 2000.. basically paying 1500 extra for steam/sauna, hot tub and pool table... not worth it. Sorry

Have had both and wooden floors are no 1 favourite way more practical for cleaning etc. You can always get a big rug if need be. I don't find wooden floors cold ❤❤❤

Agree! I put my slippers on once I get home, so I don't notice a problem. They are so easy to clean, and they're beautiful!

I feel the cold so will always say carpets keep a room warmer. I have stayed in places where the floor is wooden, and it may look nice, but is too cold. I needed to have rugs more for my feet, as they couldn’t handle being on a hard floor during a working day and then at home in the evening too. Having said all of that, if you have a dust allergy it is said that wooden / hard floors are better than carpets.

Dunelm have some good fridge storage if you have one near you, I got a set of 3 glass storage containers with plastic lids from Lidls and they were only £9.99 for the set x

Things to consider: Wooden floor is quite the investment so you need to be sure. Wooden flooring will scratch..believe me! Also with wooden floor you’ll definitely need a rug for noise reduction and softness, so you’ll be covering a lot of the wooden flooring with furniture and the needed rug so for what you will see of it, is it really worth the cost?

Your sofa is lovely, I have the same sofa but in the camel colour which doesn’t go in my new room

I’ve got wood floors and yes it is colder but it’s so easy to keep clean! I have a rug and I also wear slippers all the time😊, I don’t regret having wood floors they look stunning! ❤ I have the herringbone one so that’s the one I would choose lol xx

Aldi has better and cheaper boxes. Those containers for fridge and cosmetics are really 👍🏼. I also recommend acrylic turntable for the fridge 🙂
