@@peanutbutterpandapuffs PSA for Pokémon cards. Never got the chance to buy anything as kid but during covid I spent couple thousand sharing opening packs with my little sister. I got the enjoyment out of them and will be selling the whole collection. BTW how do you get rid of bulk?

@@chefsaliva5317 Yea for Pokemon I definitely would go PSA just for the liquidity of it since most people prefer PSA. "Most" people dont want CGC slabs ( despite how some people say they love cgc ) its just harder to sell those. Bulk if you sort by rare/commons/holos. ( no energies ) stores take them but youd have to ask. The place I used to sell bulk to online I dont think takes them anymore.

Hey friend! So I am also planning on submitting some final fantasy cards for grading. I’ve graded lost if Pokémon but since final fantasy doesn’t have boarders I’m having difficulty determining centering. Any advice? Thank you for the awesome content!

For Final Fantasy cards its sort of tricky. For the back I feel like its impossible to tell. For the front what I did was I compared images of each card with other cards images I see on places like ebay etc. Then I judge based on how "aligned" it is to the corner letterings and the card art. Like for example of the Letter S in a word on the card on the bottom is aligned with a certain part of the card image. If that makes any sense ?

Its good to PSA them if you just collecting and don't care about resell value, since PSA graded low can actually go below raw price. So yeah its not really profitable in a way if you are a trader. But if you are a collector, its fine, Hell, i PSA all my Eevee promo card that are just worth 10-15 bucks on market, and i paid like 10x the amount that to PSA them, lmao

@peanutbutterpandapuffs 6 күн бұрын
Hey! Yea a bit personal of a question haha kinda feels awkward to answer. But one thing I would say is, in hobbies its really important to find what you enjoy and what you like the collect. It doesnt always have to be the expesnive things. A lot of times when you have passion for the cards you like, you hold onto them and they become the "valuable" items that people want later on. If that makes any sense ! I have a lot of my collection that isnt always expensive items. Its important to buy and sell things ~ its just part o the hobby and how you fund it !

How do you go about in sending it to PSA….is there a card minimum you have to send ?
@peanutbutterpandapuffs
@peanutbutterpandapuffs 5 күн бұрын
I can do a longer form tutorial. They dont have a minimum per-say but the cost for the individaul card is higher. Like for example if you do a bulk of 20 cards it could be like 13.99 a card but for a single card submission it. could be like 25 a card. And then you factor in shipping and insurance it could be like almost 50-75 just to grade a SINGLE card, as opposed to just saving for a bunch to send in, if that makes any sense

I love the personal stories you shared about trading cards for snacks because you didn't have a lot of money growing up. The value of these cards is inconsequental, you wanted these cards preserved for your own personal enjoyment for many more years to come! This is what it is all about!!! I thought my childhood collection was gone until a few months ago when my mom found the charizard I pulled back in 1999. I also sent it to PSA for grading, but I have no interest in selling at all! You took better care of your cards because my Zard only got a PSA 6 after being thrown around for two decades 😂! This find got me back into collecting, and I am now rebuilding my complete vintage sets.

Also I’m kind of cautious about PSA and prefer BGS.. I’ve seen a guy get two Pikachu cards graded and they came back PSA5. He resubmitted them and they came back PSA10, PSA9…. So you gotta wonder why that’s happening… Also PSA tries to control population instead of just giving honest grades a lot of the time. So a less valuable card will have a far greater chance at getting a 10 then a very expensive card does. PSA is also aware of people collecting PSA1 cards and they have began controlling that Population as well.

Nice video but when you’re talking about people buying graded cards you’re only thinking about the value of now… Let me put it into perspective. Let’s say you know what you know now but it’s the year 2001.. Would you pay $150-$200 for a PSA 10 1st edition Charizard? Same thing.. It’s an investment for the future. That’s all

Yea I read both your comments ! I love reading feedback and definitely for all grading companies we need to be cautious of gatekeeping grades, even things like Black Labels. For sure I think values definitely we have to think about the future as well, my main concern have always been my opinions lean towards casual collectors ( sorta like me ) who enjoy the hobby but could EASILY get burnt out by focusing too much on the values/chases. @sugarsweetfilms494 oops that’s weird for some reason that reply was for someone else . The price is 14.99 a card . With the special it was 2 dollar less which I think they extended . This is not including any upchwrges if your card ends up being valued more at a higher grade . Also does not include return shipping and your shipping to them which you have to decide to get insured or not ( insurance to send is like 70-80 or more ) . I personally did not insure my shipment out but they insured the return shipment . Hope that helps ! Which is why I don’t recommend people send just any card to grade and there’s such a thing as “junk slabs” where the card is worth the same as the grading price or less which makes it a waste of

I did regular bulk / the pokemon june special for a smaller submission.
