Great Bear is a really good ride! You’ll definitely have to revisit to ride the newer rides. But yes, Storm Runner is a lot in a short ride time.

The track is their topper track model. I believe a good portion of it is wooden, there’s a few videos out there explaining it.

Gurnee, but nearby

Night rides on Whizzer used to be one of the best experiences you could have in the park, but when they built Maxx Force and added all the lights it ruined that experience. I will always cherish my memories of that, and Whizzer IS still a good ride even without that. Also a historic one- one of the last spiral-lift Schwartzkopfs in existence. Ragin Bull was better before they added the trim brake on the first airtime hill, but it's still a BEAST AND A HALF today. I also rank Goliath at the top, and Bull as a VERY CLOSE number 2. Both spectacular rides.

I’d argue it was the best addition for the park! It has my favorite ride experience for pure fun thrills

You should really give Kennywood, Kings Island, and especially Cedar Point a visit. Never been to Kings Island or Hershey, but I would love to go to both.

Six Flags Great America is also my homepark

It's definitely a much different experience compared to the major amusement parks around it. You've got all these larger-scale parks like Six Flags Great America, Holiday World, and Kings Island. And in the midst of it all, there's this compact little 10-acre boardwalk park with nothing like it for hundreds of miles in any direction. Kentucky Kingdom isn't exactly a big park but it's enormous compared to Indiana Beach.

@MarsJenkar it’s such a small scale park, but because rides are built on top of each other it feels large! Reminds me a lot of Phantasialand with the park layout.

That’s a nice home park! Cornball was a great addition and headliner.

@@AirtimeProductions Cornball Express may not be the best coaster in the state (the Voyage at Holiday World has it beat), but it competes with the state's other CCIs, The Raven and The Legend, for second.

I still have yet to get out to Holiday World but it's up there! I've never been more tempted to drive the extra distance in my life. I know next time I can make the drive up there.
