"Soukoku" means "double black", is the deadliest duo Yokohama's underground have ever seen, known for wiping out an organization of ability users in a single night. It's a cannon title given to Chuuya and Dazai, so people like to use it for the ship too

Can’t believe I’m seeing this a year later but one of my takeaways from stormbringer is that Dazai’s straight up just in love with Chuuya or something. Like he really did all that for Chuuya, for what?? Because the maid thing obviously wasn’t serious(atleast to me). Dazai is literally obsessed AND sincerely cares for Chuuya, like idk seems like he’s in love.

when I first watched this video, I wasn’t TOO interested in stormbringer. I loved reading it of course, but it wasn’t really my favorite thing ever. now, im watching this as I draw verlaine for probably the hundredth time……. stormbringer changed me in so many ways and it got me VERY interested in analyzing characters and stories. it’s genuinely so great and will forever be my favorite novel. also, verlaine and rimbaud are SO fruity

I want this novel to be animated so bad I can't 😭😭There was a rumor that we'll see Stormbringer animated in season 5 and it's gonna be a movie like the Dead Apple, but even if they'll animate it I'm afraid they will cut off a lot of Soukoku moments just because it's too gay.
