I like this song my brother sent it to me today on Christmas day. Our child hood friend like second family he sent it to my brother. I wish I could stand on my wooden porch my childhood porch dancing as the rain hits my tin roof. I would dance with you Shane. Thanks for sharing this song. Addicted already. ❤

This song deserves much more views and recongition. If it were made in 70's along with Lynrd Skynyrd best music, it would have been great hit and top music charts!

Had the pleasure of seeing Brent Cobb at the Princess Theater in Decatur, AL. Great show, loved every minute. Most underrated singer songwriter on the road. He’s a staple in our house. Me, wife, kids, everyone.

Wow! When I first heard this song, thought, wow, that sounds like "Good Friday" by the Black Crowes. Now, I just realized that the fucking song is called "BLACK CROW"!! How bout that!! Shame he didn't at the silent "e" at the end.

What it's Like Everlast. Slightly different but the as the whole composition is almost identical. You could literally replace the lyrics and it would work. Tell me you learned to play What it's Like almost perfectly.

Life's a trip man, I don't understand how it can feel so real and dream like at the same time and how other people I saw were wrong could be right and wrong, just like me. But I do know the music has a mysterious power in that it has the power to really get to someone's inner core and change their mind. It might be the only thing that can actually do that. That's probably why they sing so much at church, but maybe they're singing the wrong songs. It's not for me to say. I only say that because they say I need to save my soul but I don't believe in their answer. It doesn't seem to be available to everyone when it should. I think it's important that the answer is universal, simple and easy to achieve and that no person can get in the way of you receiving that answer because it's personal. That's why the lyrics and timing of the song coming into my life again is having such a profound impact on me that I don't know what to do with other than write a long comment on KZbin so that maybe someone can relate cuz I think that's how you save someones soul being able to relate to someone and understand where they're coming from and feel their pain because you felt it cuz it gives them peace of mind. I think that's the message to have peace of mind and the understanding that there's hope no matter what. It's a message that anyone on the planet can receive on their own and no one can give it to you and no one can take it away. There's no official. Can't buy it. Can't get a degree in it and that's the problem. If it's not measured, it doesn't matter until it does. This song is helping me keep my peace of mind which I appreciate greatly because it's helping me save my soul and the people I love because they will have peace of mind as well. I hope if you're reading this that you don't lose hope no matter what you go through in life and you always keep your peace of mind and that you don't compromise too much of yourself that you lose it and if you did that you can still find a way to get it back at the end. Thank you for sharing the message of salvation. Even though you might have not known it cuz I know it's saving people who need it.

All you critics and know-it-alls need to stfu. Where's yours that's better? Yes, Everlast laid the groove 30 yrs ago, I remember it I was there. He borrowed it from someone who modified it.. so on and so forth. It's also one of the first finger pickin' progs I taught myself or stumbled onto long before What It's Like and many a guitar player will attest to this very simple fact.. Pick up a guitar, fiddle around with it for a lil bit and it just shows up in your playing like bills in the mail. When y'all keyboard pros post better, I'll shut up. @Brent Cobb.... tyvm for this beautiful and haunting tune. I gotta foot tappin. Big ups for no ads as well...

It's funny how people blame the government for problems when the government is just people. Do you think the businesses are looking after our best interest? don't make me laugh because monopolies of businesses are running the governments. adults are nothing more than grown children still immature.

So I’m a few months in going to commit suicide. I’ve been contemplating it for years. But over the last few years I’ve left messages to people who “know me” over songs.. I thought it was beautiful. But I’m sure I dampen moods and at that point goodbye.

Laughing ain't a pleasure until you know about crying 😭😂😭😂 That line means more and more and more, it's important to know before it's forgotten and we find ourselves in forgotten times. We don't know how to act cuz we never thought we'd be in these situations. I hope you find peace of mind because in order to deal in life you must compromise and some find themselves in catch 22 situations where they don't know what's the worst and you lose yourself, your peace of mind and your hope. But remember you can get it back, no one's ever too far gone, no matter what you do, I know it doesn't sound right. It's f***** up but it's true because every one needs a chance of redemption.
